This is a wonderful restaurant a little way out of the town centre near to the Baxi factory. Food is excellent in whatever format you choose. There are many good restaurants in and around Bassano but I always ensure i make a least 1 visit to this wonderful restaurant.

Being a vegetarian itâs not always easy to find good. In âIl Recuperoâ the food wasnât only good - it was super delicious. The starter âSpinach-Ricotta Ravioliâ might not sound so exciting, but it was sooo tasty. The smoked Ricotta on the top was like the icing of the cake. I couldâve eaten a triple portion of this. Easily!As a main I was served a mouthwatering combination of quinoa and cabbage with a creamy sauce. The presentation was beautiful and the dish simply very tasty, yet healthy.The last, but not least. The Creme Brûlée. Not often do you get a Creme Brûlée with both a perfect texture and taste. Usually always one of them is mediocre. This one was absolutely lovely. 10 points. Thanks you for a lovely dining experience. Also the wine list seemed impressive and my husband did enjoy his meat with grappa experience.We will be back !

Ci siamo fermati a pranzo. Buonissima la grigliata di carne con di tutto un po'. Prezzi molto buoni. Comodo il parcheggio e disponibile anche un giardino per rilassarsi magari sorseggiando una buona grappa Poli.

Mirasole is hidden away in the hills just outside Bassano. So switch on the GPS and go to this wonderful spot. The name, Mirasole, means 'sun sight' so you will enjoy panoramic views of Romano d'Ezzelino. The food is true 'cucina veneta'. Everything is made in the kitchen, nothing is shop bought. The flavours are delicate and balanced. The menu is quite small but broad enough to offer a good choice. I only wish that I could cook as well as this at home. The radio played while we ate and it was tuned into an 80s station that specialised in Italian music giving this one-room restaurant a uniquely authentic feel. It was an unmissable experience and great value

We were reccomended this place at the hotel we stayed and were warned, though, that is very down-to-earth, home-style cuisine. As this is preciely what I am usually look for, it seemed perfect! And the expectations of a good cuisine was met completely! Bassano del Grappa is a rather trendy place, so one would not expect such a great, informal, restaurant to be here, although it is right next to the railway station and not in the Old Town. Their specality are meat-dishes. We had a pasta-dish with speck, which was out of this world: creamy, tasty and abundant. Also, I had a medium-sized steak which was enormous! If your hunger is not that of a bear, I would reccomend the small size portion of steak, as the medium one is already the size that would suit a grown St. Bernhard dog. If you ever should pass by Bassano del Grappa, under no circumstance miss this restaurant, it is absolutely amazing!

Locale ai piedi del Grappa davvero caratteristico.Meravigliosa vista sulla pianura.Ottima disponibilità di posto a sedere sia dentro che all'esterno.Ho assaggiato il panino ed era squisito. Tornerò per provare i piatti di carne.Camerieri molto cordiali e simpatici.Unico neo forse i dessert un po' cari per la quantità che ti viene servita.Per il resto tutto ottimo.

4.5 stars. Best meat I have had in a long time and it was cooked right in front of us on the fireplace. The menu has a list of meat and cheese plates, the most extensive I have seen. Creative antipasti. Good pasta dishes and a diverse dessert menu. Great wine list by the glass or by the bottle. Staff was very friendly. Menu was in Italian and English. I can't say enough about this place. A little difficult to find, but gps was correct. Parking in the back. I won't hesitate to make the hour drive again to come back and visit.
