Just out of Falset this place has ample parking and both outdoor and indoor seating. Specialising in traditional Catalan food they are also strong on grilled option (meat, vegetables, rabbit etc). The staff are smartly uniformed and very courteous and professional not stuffy. Good wine list as you'd expect, at very fair prices and some nice home-made desserts for just 3 or 4 euros. The owner speaks good English. We came in January and I might have preferred a slightly warmer / more cosy look and feel but basically this place is a very good option if you want true local food and are not interested in anything too fancy or messed around with. I'd go again.

We spent three hours for an informal dinner last Friday. Food was poor (octopus was impossible to be swallowed) , unprofessional waiter . Huge servings . Will not repeat but was the only option in the village since in Cal Cabré they didn't want to prepare dinner for us. We were glad to find a table on this warm day, and we were really dying of thirst. We were placed just at the kitchen, so the staff passed us several times every minute. After about 10 minutes we were given a menu. When no one had botherd to pay us attention after anothet 10-15 minutes we left.Despues de atenderles, fuera de nuestro horario de trabajo (llegaron mas tardes de las 15 h), avisar que era la única mesa disponible (al lado de la barra, no en la cocina), ponerles unas aceitunas, detalle de la casa) y dejarles las cartas, para escoger los platos, les parecio demasiado tiempo que tardaramos 10 minutos en pasar a tomarles nota, dejando la mesa sucia y sin ninguna explicacion, abandonar el restaurante.
