El restaurante está en una masÃa ubicada en las afueras de lâespluga de francolÃ, en una zona no muy bonita. Sin embargo la masÃa es agradable por fuera y muy acogedora por dentro, con una decoración sencilla y moderna. La atención es muy amable y la comida excelente. El menú por 19,80⬠está muy bien. En mi caso esqueixada de bacalao de primero, con longaniza de 2do y crema catalana de postre.Te reciben con una copa de cava cortesÃa de la casa.En definitiva fue una muy grata experiencia y una muy buena comida

Un local sin especial atractivo, pero que practica precios asequibles - y una factura honrada - en la oferta de tapas y platos combinados, que fue lo que tomamos nosotros.No hay que esperar grandes alegrÃas gastronómicas, pero sirve perfectamente para una comida sin más. El personal agradable.

We had a very pleasant stay at this B&B and decided to try the breakfast based on the glowing reviews for dinner and lunch. We were disappointed.Breakfast consists of toasted bread with butter and marmalade and fresh sliced fruit. Period. You get one cup of coffee. If you want a second (and who wouldn't?), there is a supplementary charge to the â¬5 (per person!) you're paying already. We went out to the main square the next morning and had a much better experience.

We were laughing more at this place than with it because it was so old fashioned...But the food was really good. We were staying at the hotel within the monastery and we had booked a table for 8pm (I think you have to book more so that they know to open the doors than to make sure you get a table, especially at this time of year).We'd been out all day walking and had skipped lunch so we were ravenous. And we were cold. The restaurant was freezing too. (The hotel was toasty-warm FYI)At 8pm we were the only table. By 9pm there were three more tables. We saw all the same people the next morning at breakfast so I guess they had no outside customers.They offer a very reasonably priced set menu and there are about five choices for starter, main and dessert.Wine and water was included in the price and the sweet but kind-of-lost old guy who was the waiter asked us if we would like a glass or the bottle of wine. We asked for the bottle (and finished it) and there was still no extra charge. The service in general was really good, except with the wine; it took at least ten minutes to get it and we were already eating the starter. I think that they had got a bit flustered because a European couple came in to dine and the waiter couldn't communicate with them and he had to go and get the receptionist of the hotel (who wasn't much better) to come and translate the menu. I'd love to see this place full!The food was rustic, piping hot and plentiful. It totally hit the spot. It was like going to Granny's house for dinner.I had the typical Catalan stew as a starter and it was excellent: full of butifarra, chorizo and veg. The other starters and the main courses were equally good and equally hearty and tasty.I wouldn't hesitate to go back here.

As Poblet monastery was closed between 12:30 pm and 3 pm we used that time for lunch. Les Disset Fons may be not a bad idea as it's not far away, is cheap and serves good food. Their menu del dia costs EUR 9.70 and includes starter, main dish, dessert, coffee and drinks (including house wine). We had one soup, one plato del dia, fried chicken and kind of stuffed loin. For the dessert we tried crema catalana. Service was so so but value for the price was fantastic anyway.

We went to to the Poblet Monastery in the morning from Sitges then a short drive down the hill and into town. No reservation but welcomed. You make the tomato bread.Set menu a good deal but I sprung for Foie Gras-- fabulous. House Cava very tasty. Desserts modest, not a reason to go. Highly recommend.

Whilst travelling close by, we took recommendations from TA as a guide to trying this restaurant. I suggest you try it too. We were a group of six friends who all love a nice meal and good wine. We were more than pleasantly surprised by this place. I refrain from giving it an excellent score purely because of a couple of details. Two of us had carpaccio for a starter which when it thawed out was delicious, but it did arrive almost frozen. We weren't in a hurry so took the time to wait, the taste was delicious. But in this kind of restaurant, this sort of thing shouldn't happen. The second failing was the fact that none of the staff serving our table asked us if everything was OK until the very end, by which time this detail was too late to focus on. Staff were somewhat surly of expression but did a reasonably good job and were pleasant enough when questioned about various things on the menu. The place functions with a very young team, who I think do very well and with a little extra effort could be even better. Lovely place in a quiet setting, great ingredients, fabulous local wines. Price quality, excellent. The group of us who went have already planned to go back.
