Sono stato in questa pizzeria di sabato sera in compagnia della mia fidanzata.Il locale era pieno ma attendendo una decina di minuti ci è stato dato un tavolo all'esterno.La location è ideale per ogni esigenza.Il personale è stato molto premuroso e gentile.Passando al cibo, abbiamo ordinato un fritto misto completo, una pizza Margherita e una pizza Siciliana.Il fritto comprendeva 6 pezzi (tra cui la frittatina di pasta e il pacchero ripieno di ricotta). Ottima frittura, peccato solo per la mancanza di patatine fritte (che comunque non erano indicate nel menu tra le componenti del fritto misto). Le pizze, arrivate dopo circa mezzora dall'ordine (quindi in maniera veloce se si pensa che era sabato sera e il locale era al completo) sono state promossissime! Indubbiamente il mix di ingredienti freschi e digeribilità dei prodotti ha fatto sì che la pizza risultasse molto buona e non pesante! L'impasto poi essendo di quello appartenente alla tradizione napoletana era soffice, e abbiamo mangiato anche gli squisiti bordi!Per due pizze, fritto misto, acqua e coperto ho speso 22â¬.Consigliatissimo!

We have been here last Christmas day, with my Italian family [I'm originally from the area, from Sava]. Good, authentic food, and great service. Antipasti were impressive; we also had two different kinds of pasta, and fish as second course.A special mention for the homemade liqueurs, at the end of the meal: you need to ask the waiter for them, and you will be amazed by the variety [fennel, liquorice, quince, plum, etc...].Definitively recommended if you are looking for a traditional Masseria.

I took my family and 3 American guests to I Mercanti last week, and was again extremely satisfied by their professionalism and service. While we sat down we asked for some aperitivo ("due fritti") and were even served some pittule that they made especially for us. We all liked their meal choices and wine selection. Our waitress was helpful to the extreme and even put us in contact with a tour guide to go visit the Fonte Pliniana and the Messapian Walls after our lunch. I will gladly return in the future... two thumbs up!

The location is interesting since the restaurant is located inside Palazzo Imperiali (previously owned by the noble house Imperiali). The food however is average or below average. I would advice you to look for another restaurant if you are visiting Manduria.

found this place on TA. its situated in a housing block so locating it was little difficult. huge seating place which you cannot assume from outside. pizza are freshly made and are very good. Tried there piaddini pizza and it was awesome. would surely reccomend this place if you are in Manduria or passing by. Opens in the evening and closes early if there are not much orders. Went there thrice.

Couldn't wait to try this newly opened restaurant and we were certainly not disappointed. Starters were all tasty and well presented and we all had filletto al primitivo to follow which was exceptional, one of the best sauces we have ever tasted. We noticed the pizzas that were being served and returned a few days later to give them a try. Wow, they were amazing, so light and tasty. This place will definitely be on our list of restaurants to visit every time we visit Manduria. Thanks Amadeo and staff and see you in October!

Ogni volta che siamo a Torre Ovo è impossibile non fermarsi in questa trattoria seppur dall' ambiente rustico ma con prodotti davvero eccellenti, carne alla brace fantastica ,pizze davvero ottime e pesce pescato del giorno squisito affidatevi ai consigli dei camerieri di Sala che nella loro simpatia e professionalità delizieranno il vostro palato, prezzi ottimi per la qualità offerta Grazie a presto!

We had a lunch during august 15 the feragosto.We had a fresh pasta with primitivo sauce like its a traditional dish.They served us also different appetizers but my favorite is the stuffed mussels...everything is perfect..dont forget the wine andhe Primitivo of course!
