Al centro della cittadina di Egna o in lingua tedesca Neumarkt,c'è quella che una volta era la stazione della posta, adesso il bar ristorante, offre dei piatti interessanti, specialmente della tradizione trentina, da provare assolutamente il tris di canederli ed il tagliere di salumi. Si apprezza oltre alla bontà dei piatti, anche la velocità e la gentilezza delle cameriere.

Due to a family outing in the Dolomites, we visited the Nigglhof, where we were greeted in a friendly manner, but then ignored for a long time until we had to actually solicit service from the staff, who was obviously bothered. The quality of the food was very good and very tastey. If they had provided even average service, I would have gone up a star. The food was, as I said, very good. Unfortunately they ignored us again, when we returned... apparently, they had determined, that we had received enough service for one day. That is why I see myself forced to warn others of the poor service. You won't starve, but if you are willing to walk or drive just a few more minutes, then you should!

Il locale è nel centro del piccolo paese, un bell'edificio caratteristico, personale gentilissimo e disponibile, sempre sorridente, ambiente genuino e semplice. La cucina è tradizionale, i sapori di un tempo senza tanti fronzoli, gusto deciso e sublime, porzioni soddisfacenti e prezzi più che adeguati. Un'ottima esperienza.
