Absolutely stunning beachside location with impressive views.Dined here on several occasions always in a large group which was never too much trouble for the staff as each time every order was perfect.They have a great selection of lovely wines especially for whites. Smooth fruity and easy to drink.The menu is extensive and the waiters will do their upmost to ensure everybody is catered to.Service is unhurried and typically Italian which is perfect, although some may feel it is too slow.Food I consumed here : piatto di mar : cold cuts of fish (almost sashimi) platter. Stunning tastes and extremely fresh. Antipasti of meat & cheese & cheese board : the meats are of good quality and the cheese is a local one. Fantastic flavours and pairings.Mozarella fritto : deep fried mozerella balls - good size and great texture.Vongle e cozze - mussles & clams: incredible dish, collosal size. Became a little salty so my liking towards the end.Fileto e porcini - filet steak with mushrooms : amazingly soft filet, really juicy. (Dont order if you like it cremated as its a waste of a great cut) the mushrooms had an almost truffle taste to them.Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Cannot fault a thing.

Locando del Barone offers you a tasteful Italian cuisine, in an authentic environment. There are numerous courses, each one very copious. So, donât overdo with the antipasti! A recommended place for those who appreciate that the Italian cuisine is much more than pizza, and this at very affordable prices.

For those who are fond of fish, Don Attilio is a recommended place. The numerous courses are fresh and nicely served. July (at least, the first half) is still low season, as there were only three tables occupied.

This is an upmarket restaurant, great for a long chatty evening, not fast food. We had the tasting menu with different starters and two pasta dishes and beautiful dessert. The food was delicious and mainly seafood based with good wine to accompany it. Service was very friendly and helpful.

I had an indigestion after this dinner, because my grill meat was not fresh.Waiters speak english, but it is only one advantage of this place.Untaste and unfresh dinner (salad, meat, desert, water and glass of bad vine) for 2 person was 78 euro. I can't recommend this place for anybody.

Despite being fluent in Italian we were treated clearly second class guests! Food is good, interior one of a cheap pizza joint and service is below standard if you are a non local! Avoid the place and leave it to the locals!!!

This small place is run by a young couple. They will startle you with delicious dishes prepared with high quality ingredients. I had a mouthwatering tuba filet e crusted with black sesame followed by spaghetti alla specola with a combination of seafood. My wife opted for a seafood entree followed by tuna with sesame. Servings are huge and everything was fantastic, including the wine. Prices are moderate considering the quality. Another place you should not miss in Sapri!

Together with family I had a lovely lunch at this restaurant. Really great service, even though waiter didn't speak english fluently. Yet, we saw efforts to explain each dish, so we felt really grateful. Talking about food, I really enjoyed it, as first meal: pasta "al dente" and second meal: swordfish were cooked well. Bottle of white wine "I Vigneti Di Bruma" (semi sweet, refreshing) complimented both courses. Lastly, at the beginning served bread was really delicious, so we asked if it is possible to buy one and they said yes. Thank you for that! There was only one other customer. Waiter was attentive and clear in descriptions.I had coze for antipasto and spaghetti alle vongole. 1/4 of wine and digestivo came to only 25e.Food was very good and abundant.Price very reasonable for seafood.Grazie mille per la bella recensione su di noi spero di riaverla presto nel mio ristorante e farle deliziare altre specialità .

Very nice pizzas, the dough was perfect and the ingredients fresh! I'm from Napoli...and this was the best pizza I've ever had outside Naples. The service was great and prices very low. I strongly recommend it! We only went to this because we read it about it on trip advisor... Reviews were right!
