Discover Restaurants offering the best European food in Amalfi, Province of Salerno, Italy. If it's your first time visiting the Amalfi Coast, chances are you'll do a double-take the first time you see a roadside lemon stand. Yes, those are lemons, and yes, they are the size of your head. But despite their freakish appearance, you will grow to love these lemons because the locals use them to produce limoncello. And take it from us, there's nothing like a glass of limoncello as you gaze out at the sea from the balcony of your hotel in Amalfi. It's pretty much perfection.

We were not sure whether to go to this restaurant, which specialises in weddings, but so glad we did. Attentive service, really well cooked and presented food and the view of Amalfi is simply stunning. Pick up also arranged by the restaurant from our hotel.

My husband & I stopped in here without a reservation & were given a lovely table outside with a prime view of the Amalfi beach towards the west. We were there off season which I'm sure helped since I would think this is a tourist destination restaurant. It juts out off the main road to Amalfi in what was an old fort. The maitre d and waiter/staff were both lovely & professional. Our food came out timely & was delicious. The ambiance & setting were superb. I highly recommend a meal here!

Within the historic walls of the Villa Cimbrone, we invite you to savor an enchanting culinary experience at "Il Flauto di Pan", our gourmet restaurant. A symphony of flavors, aromas and colors awaits you, bringing together the beauty, gastronomy and emot
One of the best places on Amalfi coast and probably on Mediterranean sea for fantastic views and photo shoots. I am a Vegetarian and had the tasting menu. The presentation and quality of food was amazing. For a change no Pastas or Pizza on the Menu in an Italian restaurant. The entire hospitality team is very friendly. Also if you are eating at the restaurant no entry fee to visit the Gardens. A must troll around if one wants to have a picture taken from one of the most beautiful spots at the top of the sea.Dear 428kirtip, Thank you for the time you dedicated to write the review. I'm really glad that you enjoyed the experience in "il Flauto di Pan" and I will share your review with my entire team. We truly believe in the selection of the best quality of products to provide our guests an unforgettable experience through our plates. We hope to welcome you again soon. From May to October, the period of the year which is best for enjoying the sun and sea of the Amalfi Coast, lunch and dinner are served also at the Beach Clubâs Restaurant Al Mare, restaurant positioned on a perched terrace just above Hotel Santa Caterina
This was an amazing restaurant with a beautiful setting, excellent food and impeccable service. The pasta, beef and lamb were all excellent. We would highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a delicious meal in a very relaxed and pretty setting. The restaurant/owners even offered to pick us up and bring us back to our villa near Minori. Well worth the money.

One of our favourite restaurants from a 3 week trip. The service was friendly and efficient, and they made us feel very special as we mentioned we were on our honeymoon. Fantastic food: can highly recommend the tuna tartare and lemon tiramisu! In a lovely square just tucked away from the main square.

Nice time for couples and groups of friends. Fresh fish of the day and good meat. Wood oven pizza. Outdoor dining.
Staying in the area, we ate here twice. The first time was a late lunch, and we had the patio to ourselves. The second was for a pizza dinner. We ate in the patio again. It was lovely both times. On a hot afternoon the breeze cools you off; on a September evening it was delightful. Both times, the service was excellent and the food very good. For lunch I had fish, grilled with a lemon sauce. Very tasty! When we ate pizza I ordered one with a smoked cheese, arugula, and tomato. Also good, and good heated up the next day. This is tasty, solid food. Not the most inventive or nouveau nouveau, but flavorful and affordable and comfortable. You can see why it's a favorite among the locals. Recommend.Oh..and the Lemon Spritz!thank you very much for your review and we thank you for having preferred us.

Unfortunately we have spend one of our evenings at this restaurant. We have seen the reviews and the food was a bad surprise! Plates with low quality and fantasy, extremely expensive. But the main problem was the staffs' behavior. They were literary "throwing" the plates on the table, without saying nothing. At 10.00 in the night the table besides us was reserved by an Italian family of 8 persons with 3 babies (1-3 years old!!!) that they were screaming with their parents all the time. Suddenly from the other tables people were talking loudly in an effort to cover all the noise of this table! When we called the manager to complain about the situation he told us "the children are the future of Italy!!!) with an aggressive way and he told us to leave the place if we didn't like it!!!!!!!

I enjoyed the seafood risotto at Marina Grande. The service, view and food were excellent and well priced. I expected to pay more for such a beautiful location, but it wasn't priced higher than any of the other restaurants we tried. A beautiful location to sit outside on a nice evening. Wine was also very good.

The restaurants in cathedral square Amalfi were packed to capacity and finding a place to have some lunch, was proving very difficult, but luckily hidden away up a few steps in the shadow of the cathedral, we found this lovely little restaurant the Taverna degli Apostoli, serving the most amazing food, I had a Caprese salad like no other I have ever tasted, and my daughter said the pasta was the best she had ever eaten. The deserts too were delicious and well worth finding extra room for. The restaurant is run by a local couple who care so deeply about both the food and the service, nothing is to much trouble. This is definitely one of our best foodie memories of a great holiday on the beautiful Amalfi coast.

This restaurant is absolutely fabulous, and actually quite good value considering the quality of food and service. We dined here on a Tuesday evening - you must sit on the balcony with a beautiful view of the sea. The meal was perfect, start to finish. The octopus appetizer was the best fish dish I've ever had in my life - no words can do it justice. Just try it. And everything else we had on the menu was splendid. No further details are warranted - just go! Best meal we had on our two week honeymoon in Italy!
