Manuel Antonio's premier sushi destination with sunset views, excellent wine and local craft beer selections, and world-class creative sushi rolls and Japanese classics, brought to you by international chef Daniel Isea.
We had a lovely dinner at EnsÅ sushi! I had the best sushi Iâve ever had (and Iâam a sushi lover). Ordered the Kopi roll on recommendation from the waiter, and it was amazing! My boyfriend donât eat seafood, and had the Goyza and Spring rolls, and said it was the best meal he had in Costa Rica! Good happy hour drinks and Amber Pilsner.

First to be mentioned are the owners themselves Ray and Gina, very sweet very friendly couple. The help staff were good as well, some very motherly. The best foods there are Seafood based, the almond crusted snapper was great,The sushi genuine, but the teriyaki chicken was also great. Tip, ask about daily off the menu items, one day there was this Asian vegetable noodle soup that was so good and fresh. The pancakes were fluffy and not even in need of syrup, a good thing considering you can't find maple syrup anywhere there.Try asking about catering with Asian and phillapeno food. The location is close to the park, the beach and the bus stop (dirt road past the shady vendors keep right across the bridge)and to several hotels.

Located next to Manuel Antonio National Park Entrance. Serving all types of Sushi rolls with the best ingredients of the area.
With two weeks of casados, lemony ceviches/tartars and bbq under my belt, this one almost brought tears to my eyes. We happened to check in to Hotel San Bada, and this gem was on the rooftop pool patio. Views are 360 degrees, facing both into the jungle and off towards Espadilla Beach. This hotel is literally 6 steps to the park gate, so might be nice for lunch after a morning nature walk and swim in the park. The sushi was fresh and tasty. Service was great too. Very happy we found this one. Was nice and quiet and peaceful too as this is in a family hotel.

We stopped in for dinner and it was excellent. We had visited once before, so we knew where the restaurant was located. It's a small place right near the soccer (futbol) field. There are only 2-3 tables out front. There are some good 2-for-1 deals that we did last time, but this visit we both chose the special, a sushi roll, small salad, and miso soup. We also did a tuna tataki appetizer. All the food was wonderful. I can't remember the full name, but the sushi roll with Pirate in the name, is full of jalapenos. It was very spicy! We had a great meal and will definitely return on our next visit to the Manual Antonio area.

The best sushi in the zone
The restaurant is somewhat inland from the beach which is hidden by trees. There are tables across the road on the sand and others on the ground and first floors. The balcony on the first floor offered a superb view of a sloth which was busy munching through the leaves and fruits of a roadside tree. There was a Happy Hour and then our meal of tuna steak came quickly. We were pleased with the presentation of the meal and of the quality of the service. At 7.30 pm we were the only diners on the balcony but plenty of guests occupied the roadside tables, even though it was a busy highway.
