We stumbled upon Ganzo on our way to our hotel, and we are so glad we decided to stop by! Great service (we had a nice chat with Alessandro, thanks for your recommendations on what to order). And the food was delicious. We had the tagliatelle al uovo with truffles, burgers and pizzas, it was all excellent. It was before Christmas so a lot of families and large groups of people having a great time.Dear Elsa,Many thanks for taking the time to review our restaurant. Our last night in Tuscany we had dinner at Da Carlo. It is clearly a favorite of the locals. It is a quaint restaurant that is actually fairly large inside. Our waitress was fantastic. She was very attentive and friendly. We had both a pasta and steak meals. Both were fantastic. The wine selection by the glass was really good and they have severval beers, some on draft. It was a very relaxing dinning experience and we throughly enjoyed the restaurant - great food and service. We would recommend.

Once we had managed to park in San Miniato - no mean feat - Pepenero was easy to find and was surprisingly busy for a Monday lunchtime in November, with stylish Italian business people enjoying the very creative menu (but probably not the wine list, as we seemed to be the only ones with a bottle of wine on the table!). Creative is definitely the key word here and a couple of the dishes didn't quite work, which is why I have to give it a "very good" rather than "excellent" rating. A very sleek interior, wonderful views of the countryside, sophisticated ambience and service and definitely "fine dining" - quite surprising to find that in San Miniato. This is a destination restaurant, serious and interesting, very well worth visiting.

We had a perfect evening at La Rocca. First we got a very friendly welcome when we arrived. Then, throughout all of the evening the service was very friendly. And of course most import: All courses we ordered were very yummy. The chef definitely deserves the awards he got already! Besides of all this, the location is beautiful as well. This restaurant definitely is a strong recommendation for everyone loving delicious gourmet food and who is in this area of Tuscany. Excellent place quite difficult to find. But once found you are welcome by charismatic owner who will make you feel like you are the Client he had waited for years.Food (seafood) excellent. It looks rather like a wedding only venue, but is a fully functioning restaurant. the waiting staff were attentive and helpful, even bringing us dishes to try that they thought we might like. Tip - the fish menu is amazing! Everything was good and made the walk there and back well worth it!

We had a very nice dinner in Papaveri e papere. Excellent food, great wines recommended by a very good sommelier and superb service. We enjoyed all moments of our dinner in this modern and still very Tuscany restaurant. It is highly recommended to visit and booking in advance is a must as it is very popular!:-)
