The secret to the success of this family-owned business is largely due to chef and owner, Lorenzo Pazzagliaâs enthusiasm for authenticity and his generosity in his approach to food. A 14-page menu offers dozens of varieties of fresh and savory recipes for pastas, pizzas, risottos, and insaladas that inspire and satiate the hungriest of patrons. First-time customers and regulars eat family style, sharing culinary creations bursting with native flavors. The waiters are kind, gracious and friendly (and Lorenzo will be among them â you will find no greater host!). The reasonable prices, lavish servings and incredible flavors ensure return customers. Note: If you wish to secure a table for dinner on a weekend, it is best to call ahead for reservations. The name Poggio translates to âhill.â Located above the city of Cagli, bordered by a row of large shading trees, Il Poggio stands in stark white against the blue sky. The furnishings are simple and casual. The restaurant seems to beckon to customers to come in, have a seat and be among friends. One of the most famous items on the menu is Spaghetti alla Carbonara, a creamy dish of pasta, cheese, eggs, pancetta (bacon), and black pepper. If you donât experience this specialty of the house plus the Carbonara Tartufo, you are missing out on one of the most incredible flavor sensations of your life.In addition to the savory pastas, Il Poggio is known for departing from traditional Italian cuisine and celebrating the passion that Lorenzo has for spiceâexceptionally hot spice. We were looking for a bit of variation on the pizza, pasta, pieda and seafood served everywhere else and found this on tripadvisor. The service was very nice, 5 stars to the staff, and the food was good but not good enough to match the prices. As with most places in Riccione no kids menu.Happy to have been but would not go again.Scusi ma non sono d'accordo con lei.Ha cenato con filetto tagliata di carne scelta della macelleria Vanni (di prima qualità !) e calici di amarone e ha speso 24 euro a persona in centro a riccione. Credo che il suo giudizio non sia corretto, buona giornata.

before it was called' storie di mare' and was located on the Porto Canale, but then it has moved in a brand new locationin the Marina. would you say this is the same place? Definitely not: elengant yet not showy atmosphere, very good service and a choice of plates to wet every appetite. Well, put the three things together adding a slightly elaborate cuisine which does not betray the freshness of the fishes and, there you go, you have a good recipe for a great night out. prices in line with the offer, 40 to 50 Euros a head with a bottle of wine.

Both the food and the atmosphere was very good and the staff is quite friendly. Delicious dinner with fresh, healthy ingredients!! Staff extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions! Fast service. We ate outside as it was lovely and cool. In a part of town thatâs more quiet and relaxed away from the business and the crowds!Definitely worth trying! We will return when in the area!

Wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, with the Mediterranean lapping at the shoreline for a soothing feel.Moreover, food consistently excellent. Yellowfin tuna steak really succulent and flavoursome, rosé (cheapest one) excellent accompaniment, choc ginger dessert scrumptious, and limoncello a refreshing surprise on-the-house to wrap it up.Service very good too â friendly and formative but not craven. We stumbled upon this place and it was a delight. Itâs a take away fish and chip shop in a square and has a few tables to eat if you prefer to stay there.We had fish and chips, fried calamari, mixed fried seafood with a wine and and amazing dips which all came to 22 euros for 3 people.We ate there but will be back to take away on the future Thank you Chelsea, hope to see you soon! Il bacio is a truly great food and human experience, rare to find in today's Italy. The place is a beautiful, tastefully decorated medieval locanda. Food is superb:the quality of the ingredients is top-notch.The intellectual effort behind every plate is remarkable, and delivers dishes that result in very original comfort food. Last but not least, the service is of excellent quality! Cherry on the pie: iper-good value for money! In a nutshell: a heart and belly cuddle!

Beautiful location, amazing relaxing view especially if you seat on the beach side -not so great on the opposite side-, relaxing atmosphere, you'll feel like home. And very kind waitresses, never too intrusive. Amazing wine list. Regarding food... I found some dishes quite interesting especially meat dishes, some were just OK, and others were just not impressive enough so to say for a 3 stars -or for me-.I feel like all these high rated Michelin guys put the accent exclusively on the appearance of the plate. But when you remove the make up, what's left is quite banal.I got explained how every dish was formed, if nitrogen was used or not, if it was this or that ingredient -you don't always recognize everything without explanation... -, but NOBODY TOLD ME WHERE THESE SAME INGREDIENTS WERE FROM!!! I don't care about 5 or 6 different types of breads -slighlty overcooked in my view -, I rather care about having one type but the best type, made from the best Italian organic grown and home ground wheat you can ever find!I don't care about some sea urchins hidden under some strange foam, with no particular flavor nor origin. I'd rather care about eating the best raw sea urchin you can find in Italy -even though I know this is not the best season for sea urchins -, maybe the only ones hidden in some particular sea weed area in the sea or growing on some particular rock, or grown in a particularly cold water... I don't know!! But I would give stars to people who care and do something about the origin of their ingredients, not about the look of their dishes. I'm a back-to-the-origins guy, sorry! At the end of the game, it's not ultra elaborated, opposite to other restaurants of the same level, but... The mindset -of the Guide itself at first - is just WRONG. Gualtiero Marchesi himself, the true Master of today's "Masterchefs " stars, became famous with truly basic dishes. Think at the famous Risotto oro e zafferano. It was just rice and saffron -ok and a leaf of gold -, but it was the best on earth you could get. Learning from the past always brings something.
