We'd rate this restaurant as Mediocre at best. Poor value for money.VERY Poor service and waiters ignored us most of the time. Unfortunately they do not speak English. Brought us an English menu, but it turned out just like the basic concept as a soup in Italian is completely different then in English. We've got a totally different dish then the soup. (Guess someone made mistake translating from Italian).Appetizer of the sea food was good, but spaghetti I've ordered with sea bass had only some residual taste of sea bass....Cancelled the main course as we got the idea of the place.We was billed 4 euros more and with total of 50 euros including the tip for appetizer, a soup which actually was a over-salted mussel dish, 2 first courses and 1/2 Liter of wine .Didn't argue because they just don't understand English, so there was no point.I usually use a TripAdvisor on this trip as my guide and until today it usually proved itself.This restaurant is a first MAJOR blowout for us.Hope it will be the last one.Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.Buongiorno,per prima cosa vorrei scusarmi per la differente interpretazione che noi abbiamo nel preparare una zuppa di cozze,(MUSSEL SOUP)cosa da lei a noi chiesta,ma di diversa preparazione in altre parti del mondo,ma purtroppo siamo in SICILIA,zuppa da lei consumata, quindi deduco da lei gradita,poi ha ordinato 1 spaghetti,(SPIGOLA E RICCI)probabilmente lei si aspettava di ricevere un piatto con una spigola,polpa di ricci a fiumi di spaghetti,cosa impossibile' visto la qualità delle materie prime che noi usiamo, e i prezzi di vendita da NOI PRATICATI,passiamo alla questione più dolente,quello di Avere fatto pagare 4 euro in più del dovuto,cosa non veritiera visto quello che lei ha ordinato:2 COPERTI 4euro,mezzo vino 4 euro,1INSALATA DI MARE 6 euro,2OSTRICHE 4 euro,1ZUPPA DI COZZE 5 EURO,1SPAGHETTI SCOGLIERA 10 euro,SPAGHETTI SPIGOLA E RICCIi 12 euro.SUBTOTALE 45 euro più 10%di servizio 4.50 conto totale 49.50,rinnovandole i nostri saluti contiamo di ospitarlo un'alta volta per poterle servire la zuppa di cozze all'inglese,distinti saluti.

We went to charme yesterday for dinner. It was one of the best fish restaurants I have ever been. The cook is incredible good and the fish quality was over the top! Just a perfect dinner. I would highly recommend charme and chapeaux to that besides his formidable cooking so simpatico chef!!

This is my favorite sit-down restaurant in Palermo. Simple, good, fresh authentic Sicilian. High-quality ingredients, fantastic wine. (Also, worth mentioning that a meal like this in NYC, or London, or Zurich would cost 4x the amount.)

What a charming casual family restaurant. Before lunch they brought out complimentary chick pea fritters which were the best in all of our travels. We had the most delicious pistachio pasta and cannelloni stuffed with ricotta cheese; both vegetarian. We were so full sharing these 2 dishes that we could not eat another bite.This restaurant attracted locals coming from church(we were there on a Sunday) Children came dressed in their Sunday best.Although though it is a part of town we were advised not to visit at night; it was a perfect choice for Sunday lunch. We actually walked from our B&B in the centre of town on a beautiful hot sunny day. We walked everywhere in Palermo.I would most definitely recommend this restaurant.

Were there for lunch. Pasta with seafood was absolutely amazing! We had a bottle of local wine which was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive.

We had dinner on a Sunday evening, the food was really outstanding, worlds apart from usual well known dishes encountered at most of places in central Palermo. However, the service was a letdown, maybe unfortunately foreign tourists get a different (worse) treatment. After our secondo, we waited for more than half an hour for somebody to show up at our table to offer us the dessert card, however instead of this we were offered directly the bill !? We assumed this happened because the waiters were busy handling a big local table, celebrating an event, nonetheless we believe all customers should be treated equally.
