Just off the main street of Arona, lies this cosy and delicious Enoteca. The food is superb, delicious and served quickly by amazing stuff that own the place. We had an appetiser of bresaola and ricotta cheese and zucchini mousse which was very good and then we ate meat - pork and beef and it was amazing. The food combinations are fantastic and they have on offer all the best Belgium beers. The interior of the Enoteca is very nice decorated with vines and wine bottles, a really nice decoration.

Eat fine, drink better and laugh all together: this is the Italian magic recipe for a long happy life! Restaurant Ponte Bria welcomes you in the pristine nature of the mountains, with a breathtaking view over the Mottarone, a fine small fishing lake close
If you are looking for excellent food whist sitting in the calm of the countryside then this restaurant is perfect. The views from the patio are beautiful and the small fishing lake behind offers a picturesque backdrop. The food is delicious. We choose: soup, cheeses, hams, pasta and salad. Every dish was tasty and the ingredients fresh. We were there as a family however it would be a perfect place for anyone.

We had a great experience at Orcobacco. The menu is small full of seasonal local ingredients. The service is excellent, casual but very professional and friendly. They're great at recommending wine and explaining their dishes. Honestly probably one of the best services I've ever encountered living in Italy. The place itself is well designed, modern rustic. Most importantly, the food was delicious and I can't wait to go back.

We had a very pleasant dinner in the nice town of Borgomanero. It's a good choice away from tourist restaurants near the Orta lake. Pasta propositions are excellent and original ! For dessert, try the selection of cheese or the marvelous tiramisu. Off course, don't forget to appreciate a good bottle of wine from the region (Gattinara DOCG from Antoniello was a nice try !). Last but not least, kids are welcome.

Super tasty finger food to accompany a comprehensive wine selection! The small menu changes regularly, but is prepared on the spot, and can deliver some wonderfully rich flavours to indulge in whilst sipping on some local wine...Expect bruschetta, crudités and boards filled with Italian cured meats and cheeses...

Dropped in here about 11pm, just as it was closing. Asked for a cone with scoops of Limone and Mango and came away â¬2.50 lighter with a precariously perched ice cream which I subsequently managed to lick into a slightly more aerodynamic shape. Utterly delicious, and not too soft, as other gelati from other gelaterie have been since then. Returned the next day for more and my wife had the basil ice cream, basil and lemon I think. Sounds bizarre but in fact was amazing. We moved on from Orta San Guilio to stay by Lake Maggiore but are considering driving back to Orta for more ice cream, it was THAT good.

We had a lovely snack lunch here a couple of times and really enjoyed the local ham and cheese on offer. We also visited a couple of times for an aperitif before dinner or a liqueur afterwards. The owner was very friendly and clearly very knowledgeable about the wines etc he had to offer. They also do a very nice Aperol spritz! Highly recommended.
