A local hangout that has excellent pizza but we were disappointed with the rest of the food. Nice people - looks like a family operation with Nona at the cash register. Parking is nonexistent so we parked in the port parking lot and walked. They don't really start serving until 7:30 but most locals come in at 8:00 or 8:30. Real wood fired brick oven and they serve a wonderful flat bread, hot out of the oven when you sit down to order.

Went here tonight based on Trip Advisor reviews, had an amazing meal of Argentinian steak and extras. It really is worth the walk, mind the steps at night though as it is a little dark..

The âsales pitchâ was warm and inviting, the primi piatti were very tasty (note they do gluten-free pasta) but the service really let them down. After eating the first course we were up for more food. But no one came back to our table after clearing the plates (which took a while) so eventually we just asked for the bill and left, slightly hungry.

This was the most disappointing meal we had in Naples. The food wasnât bad. It just wasnât up to the standards weâve been spoilt it in Naples. The highlights: â Eggplant Parmesan. This was very good. The highlight of the meal. â Spaghetti with clams. This was decent but not great. I really like the el dente cooked pasta in general in Italian restaurants but this was really too undercooked.â Gnocchi with tomato sauce: This is something we could have easily had In the US. The tomato sauce was nothing special and certainly not the high quality typically available in Naples. â Pizza with tomatoes four different types. In one word: disappointing.Dear customers We are very sorry to read that your experience has not been in line with your expectations. Letâs answer to each point.The pasta. Our pasta itâs artisanal and, as every kind of artistanal pasta, is imperfect unlike the industrial ones and probably the perception you had itâs due to the amid that this kind of pasta releases during cooking time and of course industrial kind of pasta does not have this amount of amid released. About the pizza. We make pizza with the best raw materials and we use fresh and seasonal tomatoes. About the gnocchi. We are very happy to read that in the USA you have good gnocchi as we have! Great Italian cafe/pizzeria. We can't speak much Italian, but were able to get by - we ate here several times during our week in Ischia. Probably the best Cappuccino I had on the island too. Lots of varieties of pizza, friendly staff.

The pappardelle with fu ghi porcini was delicious, I would have just cooked a minute less the pasta!The appetizers were very good, bruschette and pumpkin flowers.Nice ambient as well.

Top choice if you would like to feel thoroughly spoiled. The presentation of the food was beautiful but more importantly it was also delicious. We just ordered a primo (occhi di lupo con crema di zucchine), but greatly appreciated the homemade bread selection and sweet treat at the end we were also served. Most of all, though, we were bowled over by the service - wonderfully attentive and kind staff. Extra special thanks to the maitre who ingeniously fashioned an ice-pack by vacuum-packing ice for us to take back to our hotel as I had swollen ankle. What more can I say? We hope to come on holiday to Ischia again just to return here!

Great quality of food. Everything tasted wonderful. The choices are limited but whatever you choose should be very tasty. We had the antipasto, pasta dishes and grilled meats. All good! Itâs a little difficult to reach and the ride from their little shuttle is quite entertaining given the extremely steep hill. Wonderful view once you arrive. Definitely recommend. Also we sat outside and it even rained, we were kept dry by their awning.
