We are regular visitors to Camile Thai as the food is great and the staff are always very nice. We are there at least twice a week mainly take away or sometimes when we get a chance, a sit in meal to meet with friends. Tonight my friend and I (both female) went for a meal and one of us had 2 glasses of wine, we have alot of things going on and work fulltime and have children so when one of us went back up to order another glass. The person at the counter (I believe he is a manager he is always there and I have always thought he was very helpful and polite). He said "you want another one?" Obviously I thought it was a joke and laughed said "not judging at all are you" he gave me a very stern look, so stupidly I explained I dont go out very often I have kids and I am glad of a night out. He still sternly looked at me. He brought down the wine and then proceeded to bang chairs and sweep and look towards us. This was 9.30 PM...closing wasnt until 11pm. I am just so so offended that someone feels they have the authority to judge someone when they have no idea what is going on in a person's life. Well, thank you for the past custom but after tonight I won't be back and will no longer recommend Camile Thai to anyone.Hi IvyHolly31,Thank you for your comment and my sincerest apologies to hear about this issue. I'm the only vegetarian in my family/friends, but everyone who has joined me here for lunch has loved it and returned. Even my meat loving, pile it on my plate husband is full leaving. It's fast service, delicious food, best in town!! Seats are limited so come early or do takeaway and sit in the people's park. Recommend the quiche or nutburger. Salads fab too. Just love it.

Everything is Italian in this restaurant even the salt on the table. Authenticity doesn't mean it is good though. The pizzas were pretty bad. My son ordered a four season and the ham and salami were full of fat and didn't taste good. My Margherita pizza wasn't much better. I had heard good things about this place but was disappointed.

We found this gem by surprise coz we just went out for a quick tour of Limerick city centre and a dinner and we were delighted when we saw this beautiful gem!! From reception to waitresses and food.. Everything was great!! Music, atmosphere, decor. This was a perfect night out and I can highly recommend to everyone!! We booked Freddyâs for a birthday dinner. Lovely cosy atmosphere inside and good vibes. Food was delicious and staff were attentive. They even gave us a spare umbrella to keep up dry walking to the bar after our meal. Couldnât fault the service, top notch.
