Another one of our regular places when we visit Competa, we ate here twice on our latest trip. A nice touch are the complementary aperitifs and the 'deadly' limoncello shots before you leave. Salads are great here and large enough to have as a main course. Located in the beautiful main town square. Gracias por su visita

100% plant based cuisine. The restaurant offers a wide range of favourite dishes from the cuisines of the world and shows how to make amazing food with plant-based and local ingredients without compromising on flavour. We are the first 100% vegan b&b and
Large variety of tasty vegan food and a very cheerful staff. I am not vegan but enjoyed all what I ordered. Sure will go back.

Paco, his wife and family run this excellent restaurant. Meals are from 6 euros upwards. ALWAYS have had a very good meal here.and that is over the past 11 years. Panoramic views from the terrace to die for. From local Spanish families to foreign walkers and local Brits all are welcome. Just love the place.

Great location in Square next to the church. The service was very friendly and efficient We had breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon, smoked salmon baguette and crepes which were just ok but nothing special. Coffee was very good.Prices reasonable for the location.

We initially popped in for a drink, returned for tapas and finally for the Menu Del Dia. All 3 occasions we received quick, friendly service. An extensive selection of tapas - the Menu Del Dia was delicious- seafood pasta salad - hake in prawn and butter sauce followed by ice cream a glass of wine all for â¬8 - a covered terrace with fans - they also show sporting events (without sound)

We are located in an old carpenters workshop, built into the rocks over 200 years ago. We prepare all food freshly and to order so if you are in for fast food, El Pilon will not suit your needs. We source as much of our food locally when possible. El Pilo
I was recommended this restaurant by the Balcon hotel where I was staying on my visit to Competa in July. If you want a view I suggest booking a table . On my arrival I was greeted by Danny behind the bar who treated me like a long lost friend . I had a glass of wine at the intimate small bar which greats you on arrival leading through to the restaurant. The food was excellent and service just as good. The whole evening was a pleasant experience. I will return .

Ate here recently on holiday the weather wasn't too great but the in and out side eating areas were great. The menu was very good choice and I was advised to try the steak rossini. Very good. The service is very good and friendly and the atmosphere nice.

THE TAVERN - It offers an ideal and charming place which may find more comfortable, as well as in your own home, to enjoy the great variety of its homemade meals, Morrocan Tajines (Chicken, Lamb, Beef, Kefta), Indian Curry Food, (Tikka masala, Korma, vind
We invited our kids and their partners for a dinner in this fantastic restaurant. If we didnât have a competent waiter we had ordered to much food. She told us what she thought would be enough for 10 adults. What a fantastic service! Ad the food we had was delicious. And after that experience my husband and I went back another evening and had a dinner for two. Weâll be back next time weâre in the area of Cómpeta. I do recommend this restaurant to everyone who like Spanish/Moroccan food in nice surrounding with excellent service by amazing staff.

I had read the reviews - but honestly, some people are easily pleased. Sat in a plastic garden chair, food very disappointing. It may be great if you are eating a steak, if not, them you should consider going elsewhere. Interesting salads, but mains were tasteless, and chicken was not properly cooked. Apparently there is a nice view. If the view is what attracts you to a restaurant, I suggest you go for a walk, then find somewhere that can actually cook decent food.

Opposite the church.
Had dinner 30th sept.Ordered 3 (small plates) to start with, has it turned out they weren't that small so that's all we needed. Everything was delicious washed down with a very pleasant Rioja. Everyone were seated outside in the street which created a very pleasant atmosphere surrounded by the whitewashed townhouses of Competa.Gracias David, nos alegra saber que todo ha sido de vuestro agrado. Ha sido un placer recibirles. Ãscar y su equipo esperan volver a verles muy pronto
