Had heard and read a lot a good things about this place, so was looking forward to the meal. . However i was really disappointed. The starters ( a selection of antipasti) were OK, but nothing stood out. MY main course of sea bream was slightly overcooked, and was served with potatoes, which were the best thing about the dish.My son who was with me and my guests were also underwhelmed by the food we were served. Certainly not memorable experience.Dear Horsedeal,i'm very sorry to hear that yr experience was not as you expeted.Unfortunatly, you don't mention when you visited our restaurant, so for me it's difficult to recall you.I hope you Will give us a second chance and pls do em me if you need asssistance for the area in the future, [email protected]

This place is just extraordinary ! It's an Tuscan restaurant located on top of a hills. The Restaurant is located just outside Piano di Conca with easy access and parking. The interior is clean and simple and the staff were all gracious. It is a regular âgo toâ restaurant for my daughter. The menu includes includes good, made from scratch, modestly priced options and several âAmericanâ items such as a hot dog and a hamburger. The crudo (prosciutto) antipasto was delicious served with hot bread and an aged stracchino was wonderful. We had the Tagliatelle with beans and gnocchi with tomato sauce. Each of the two of us had a bottle of sparkling water. We were stuffed at the end of the meal. Our total bill was 27.5â¬.Donât miss this hidden gem.

The idea is great, kilometre 0, in season veggies, from female producers. Luckily the result is not disappointing! Hearty, healthy food, a warm friendly atmosphere I will come again and again.

Back at La Corteccia for two evenings. Pasta, meat and wine list very good. The owner really cares about his wines which come at perfect temperature (very rare in the summer!) from a special cellar. Pasta and salumi very good, steaks and lamb simply excellent. My wife and I really like the place and will certainly visit La Corteccia again in the near future.

This is my third time in Toscana, I've tried so many restaurants! But "Giusto di Sale" made me come back many times - the home atmosphere, unbelievable cooking, everything is very fast and delicious; very cozy and stylish. Gianluca - the owner is a very nice and polite, he suggested so many tasty and real traditional things! He talks a very good English! My family and i fell in love with this beautiful place! Next time we are here, "Giusto di Sale" will be the first time I visit!!! Thank you for making to feel Toscana like our home! Thank you very much Kate!! It was a pleasure to welcome you and your nice family in my restaurant. Maybe we are not the best restaurant in Tuscany but we always do everything possible to make our guests feel right at home. The place is definitely my favorite Osteria all around, beautiful and romantic terrasse, a great wine cellar and very original dishes, with a slight preference for fish food, though I remember having tested a tender Florentine beef sirloin steak a couple of years ago. The boss, Stefano, will help you to make the best choice of wine, depending on whatever youâre going to eat.

The food is delicious and they offer more exotic courses, too. The tasting menu is great value for money (starting from 30â¬) and a great way to experience 4 courses. The wine list is long and exquisite and they have an Enoteca, so it's possible to buy the wines for takeaway, too. Reservation is a must. A pleasant welcome in a relaxing atmosphere of a summer garden terrace. The terrace was full so they put up an extra table under the blossoming trees. Their english is not the best but their friendliness and eagerness to please the guest combined with our 5 words of italian and the language of gestures made it all good. They took care that we got the waitress who handled us as good as possible language wise. And she was the best in every other sense as well.The muscles soup was full of taste and perfectly seasoned in its simplicity. And the black pasta with cod and shrimps was just amazing. The buffalo pizza with prossiutto crudo my friends ate was so good I wanted to come back next evening and have my own and not just a bite. So the next day I had a pizza and a pasta for first time in my life. Spaghetti with seafood was an excellent start to the pizza to follow. Millefolie with the green apple ice cream and a chees cake with a strawberry topping will not dissapoint.
