A delightful place for dinner. The falafel appetizer is subtly spiced and savory. The "Ever Been in Thailand" is a dinner salad with wonderfully seasoned beef strips. The lime-mint semifreddo was incredibly refreshing. You really should check this little gem out, a bit off the beaten track but well worth the visit. Highly recommended. One other thing -- a times they will have live music as well.

Quaint garden restaurant in a little side street serving traditional dishes of better quality than most in Lucca. We enjoyed the special tortelli made with asparagus and cinghiale with polenta. This was followed by a lovely desert Friendly service and a good wine list. Definitely worth trying.

Such a good restaurant on a little street of beautifull Lucca. The food felt very genuine and well cocked from start to finish. We ordered one boarstew and one red wine slowcooked beef both with so rich and deep flavours! The antipasti and the dolce also held a very high class. If you want fine dining, you probably should go to another restaurant. But, if you want to have genuine Italian food That tastes wonderful I highly recommend this restaurant.

A meal here is an exceptional experience - the each evening's set menu allows ingredients to shine. The wines on offer allow a good complement. The service is warm and friendly. The assortment of torte desserts a nice summary to a great dining experience. The friendly service and owners' attention to the curiosity of the diners about the dishes and their preparation was a pleasure to experience.

We ate here on a Saturday evening during Lucca Comics and Games 2018. The place is quite small so it's better to make a reservation if you want to be sure to find a free table. As the name suggests, this place was originally born as a butcher's shop only, and evolved into a restaurant later (the name "ciberia" itself is really cool). Obviously, here you can eat mainly meat so it's not suggested if you're a vegan/vegetarian.The meat is incredible and if you order any kind of steak you can choose which one you want from a selection, too. The soup is great, too.The staff is kind, professional and helpful (it's not necessary to be a meat-expert to choose your steak, they will help you out).

We loved this place so much we came back twice. A huge selection of delicious sandwiches prepared fresh and served warm. We had the bresaola with pine nuts, cheese and pesto and the porchetta, both delicious. The service is quick and friendly. There is no specific room to sit but there are benches, or better yet, take it to go and eat up on the nearby Lucca wall.

As a frequent visitor to Lucca, I have my favourite restaurants - but decided to try this new restaurant. I had booked a table outside on the terrace facing the Puccini museum. The service was great - and the food served, while typical of Tuscan food & Lucca specialities - had a special twist, superbly presented in the plate, and really delicious. This place will join my list of favourite restaurants!

This is a welcome new addition to the fast food scene in Lucca. It is a sort of mixture between British toasted sandwiches, American short order deli-style and traditional Italian panini.Prices are from around 4.00-6.00 euros for hot sandwiches using different types of bread and finished off in the microwave. We chose one of the newer combinations written on paper hanging down from the counter, and a more traditional filling but with French fries. The packaging is also very clever and you can eat it indoors, sitting down or standing by a shelf. It has only been here 9 months so it has made an impact quickly.Definitely recommended.Athyoz we thank you for your review. We have been in Lucca for only 10 months but we believe in the quality of the products, in the kindness and availability towards you and you customers have given us confidence and in a short time we have conquered a small space in the fast catering of this beautiful city. We always continue to add new Top products of the Italian tradition with new sandwiches, we continuously adapt the equipment to always offer the best. Our great experience in catering and your positive feedback always push us to offer the best. We were the first group to arrive for lunch on a rainy Sunday and were very pleased to have our table for six set up for our reservation. When the waiter came to take our order, we were surprised to discover that they don’t serve pizza at lunch time! The food we ordered was delicious and it came promptly. But some of us had really wanted pizza and were disappointed not to be able to have it.
