We didn’t have to go far to find suppliers that know a thing or two about great tasting Irish food. After rounding up some Irish Shorthorn beef from Laois; fish from our very own shores courtesy of Wrights of Marino, who’ve been hauling it in for over 100

Why have a restaurant and bar inside the Hilton with high prices, mediocre food and slow service. Oh I get it a captive clientele of travelers....but there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance and a large supermarket mall so the about it.

Writing this review at 13:40 while I wait for a cup of tea and soup. I arrived in here at 13:00. Really is it that hard to put a tea bag in a pot and soup in a bowl. I’ve decided to leave and go hungry rather than waste my time in this place

I usually go with my family for a weekend lunch and, occasionally, for evening drinks with friends. The food is good, well presented and decently priced. A good service has been the pillar of a live and friendly atmosphere. Most customers are locals. It is a great place to meet friends and neighbors.

We had a lovely evening here for a little family get together. Although we were late asking for an area for ten people a lovely member of staff Ian really looked after us and got us tables altogether to enjoy the live music. Thank you to Ian and all the staff of O’Connells for making our night extra special. Highly recommend this place

We missed a flight home to the US. We ended up staying at the Radisson Hotel just down the hill from terminal 2. The gate agents recommended this restaurant and it was great! Excellent food, service, and cost. After a stressful day we really enjoyed relaxing with a good meal!!

We reserved a table for 7 Allison Nessa and Shelley looked after us well.My boyfriend had arranged a delivery of flowers to the bar for me when I was there.Nessa helped him organise nothing was a problem even a little cake for me !. Even though it was a busy bank holiday sunday we were dealt with excellently. Shelley as usual taking our orders and checking we were ok. The other staff also were great I dont know their names. Overall was brilliant. I come here quite a lot. We were to move on but stayed till the very end instead chatting and having a few drinks.
