Food always fresh great takeaway and very friendly staff . Price is good and some days thereâs great deals . King prawns always top class . Restaurant is also very clean . Have been eating here for many year . Owner very friendly and the one time they gave me the wrong order they sorted it straight away .

Where do I start? I had a barely warm Samosa, cold from the fridge or freezer. This did not bode well. Service was poor. Very poor. The waiter was not communicative or friendly at all. The main courses were only so so. I really regret having had to hand over so much money for such an awful experience. I wonât be back.I am apologies for that. Great menu and the great food followed. Cooked fresh and some really good specials also. Their special rice is so good. The owner is really friendly but not overboard. We will be back for sure.

We are regulars in that we visit the Shapla for either lunch, dinner or a take away about twice a month. We LOVE the authentic and delicious food here and the friendly staff. The menu has recently changed to include a few new (lovely) dishes. We vary what we eat and are never disappointed! Take away quality is just as good as eating in. The decor is quaint but doesn't affect our enjoyment of the great food. Recommended. Thanks for your review
