My family spent 24 days in Italy . We were based in Cerchio, a true experience in rustic Italy. We stumbled on Il Casale, a true gem. Owned by three brothers, one of whom speaks some English ...the food was terrific and very affordable. Lots of parking. Well worth the visit . Highly recommend.Canadian Cathy

We walked into this restaurant on a rainy night, my husband, myself and my 2 year old. We asked for just 2 pizza's to takeaway. The waitress said we have too many orders and cannot serve you, she then felt bad and checked with the head chef, he said no he could not serve us, I mean they could of told us there would be a wait or something, but to be refused service is just mind boggling. The other chefs had a look of sorry on their faces and seemed ready and eager to serve us. Another disappointing encounter in the Rocca di Mezzo area.

A volte cerchi la qualità e la perfezione in luoghi lontani e ristoranti stellati e ti sorprende come , in un ristorante quasi in mezzo a Fucino, possa trovare una cucina più che eccellente. Ristorante e atmosfera molto carini, tovagliame curato , i piatti.... una favola!!!! Le mie pappardelle con crema di pecorino e fave una delizia , un equilibrio di sapori stupefacente. Piatto freddo con baccalà e tutti i piatti di gran qualità e freschezza. Il cameriere discreto e gentile. Era davvero tanto che nn mangiavo così bene. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo!!! Da tornare .... ritornare ....e ritornare !!!

I was there for the dinner of a friend, she should be pleased that I took my dog, but a very young petit brunette waitress stopped me soon saying that they did not accept dogs. Now, in Italy law allow dogs in the restaurants so I asked her why not. She promptly said that there was a regional law that permitted to the owners of not admitting dog. I told her that there was the Decreto Presidente della Repubblica 1954 n° 234 that allowed the pets in restaurants. She answered drily that her colleague was a lawyer and that I could ask her... I was there with friends so I stopped. The food is nothing special and portions are smaller than average in that area. Prices looked to me a bit too high, they try to invent new dishes but I think they should stick to typical products and meals of that area that is rich of traditional dishes.

Very disappointing - have never eaten such a thin and crispy pizza! In Italy you can usually find decent pizza in any restaurant and we wanted a pizza dinner with our 2 teenage children. Never again!!

Siamo stati qui per pranzo dopo la viaita al castello... Posto molto carino e ampio parcheggio...immersi nel verde.Antipasti e primi molto buoni, ben conditi e porzioni dei primi abbondanti.Buono anche il vino della casa ed i dolci.Il cameriere, non so se anche proprietario è stato molto gentile e simpatico. Un posto dove tirnerei sicuramente.prezzi competitivi, antipasti 2 primi ,acqua dolci e vino 34⬠totale.Lo consiglio.

We went to this cosy and interestingly decorated restaurant with a group of friends and ate a menu with antipasti and pizzas washed down with craft beer. The food was delicious and the staff was amazing, you can see that they do their work with passion. Would recommend this place anytime to anyone.
