Excellent food, best of our trip so far. Pleasant view over tiled rooftops and hillside. Friendly but not intrusive hosts. Menu has English translation - which given complexity / specialism of dishes is really helpful. We had main-course size iberico pork dishes - cooked to perfection and portions that could hurt you. DO NOT EAT THE CHIPS - delicious but you won't make it to the end. They can only be there for decoration, surely??? If you think you can handle starters, the creamy tomato soup with egg is delicious... Yeah, who knew! Caramelised goats cheese also amazing. So sad we didn't discover this place on day one.

Family run bar/restaurant in Aracena since 1986. Traditional cuisine with innovative touches by Loli Alcaide. She has dedicated her whole life to cooking and her family. Also she is written 2 cook books. Homely, friendly and welcoming restaurant for all.

This small, charming family driven bar/restaurant is ok if You are on a tight budget.I can only assume that it became number one in town, due to "good value for money" or friends of the house...This place might be the best "value for money" joint in town but is not anywhere near the best restaurant.They haven't got a wine list and the menu was written on a piece of paper. Ensalada de presa was good, and the other dishes ok.Daughter was serving, mother cooking and father in the bar (not on the customer side...)If on a tight budget, and You want a cold beer - check it out.If You want a nice meal, and a good bottle of wine served from the wine fridge, then look elsewhere...

Estuvimos 6 adultos y 4 niños. Ya lo conocÃamos y yo personalmente guardaba buen recuerdo. Bebimos bastante sidra y cervezas. En cuanto a la comida, bacalao en varias modalidades, sepia plancha, chocos, varios tipos de ensaladillas, croquetas, tosta de salmorejo con jamón y la estrella de la comida (he de decir que fue petición mÃa)chuletón (1Kg) de vaca madurado que estaba excelente (a 50â¬). A todo el mundo les encantó. Total de la cuenta unos 178â¬. El servicio correcto, el trato con agrado y deseo de cumplir con el cliente. El local y la terraza a rebosar, hubo un poco de atasco al principo para sacar los platos, pero la hora y la gran demanda, lo explican. Todo lo demás... estupendo!
