They love food in Huelva, and it has several exceptional modern restaurants as well as countless more traditional ones which are good too.Noviembre has a beautiful small interior and several tables on the plaza outside. The menu looks familiar enough to those used to Spanish restaurants, but some dishes have world influences and the overall style is more European, like the independent cafés which found in many cities from Berlin to Lisbon. There was a huge amount of choice and many specials on the blackboard. The food was visually stunning, delicious and plentiful.I am vegetarian and I had a good selection of tapas and plates to choose from, but I doubt most people would even notice this - this is a clever trick in a country that loves it's meat and fish.Because of that and their good allergen information, I'd recommend this restaurant to any visitors to Huelva. It wasn't expensive and I'll be going back.

We went visited a Saturday Lunch time. The Restaurant is very spaciously laid out. It's a tasteful modern design. Despite being lazy in our understanding of the Spanish language the hosts were all able to communicate superbly with us. We chose the full tasting menu. My wife chose the wine flight to accompany it. So the food. It's a good mix of locally sourced foods from the sea and land, all turned into something very special from simple but tasty origins. Each dish comes a brief introduction. Yes it's a bit of theatre and not to everyone's taste, but to us it was all very enlightening and useful in understanding some of the processes used in the preparation.Without exception we finished every plate of the 13 offered. Some of the dishes are fashionably small and showy, but hey that's why we came here. That's the point. I challenge anybody to get to the end of the meal and still have the ability to eat another morsel The only dish that would get a minor mark down would have been the "Ink Noodle with Prawn". Only because of the sheer size. This dish was prepared at the table by the owner / chef on our visit. It's a nice touch and again, it's showy, but we loved that part. My criticism? There was simply too much! We should have left a bit probably, but the deliberately timed service between courses meant that we were able to recover - just - before the next course, My favourite dish was the Iberian Ham Tartar. Again mixed and prepared at the table., It was simply outstanding in flavour The desserts were stunning in presentation and flavours. No scrimping by the pastry chef here. No rush at all during service. No rush at all to be offered the bill and there was a really friendly atmosphere here among the staff and customers. Some of the poor reviews for this restaurant seem to be critical of the use of local cheap ingredients and small plates of food. Each to their own, but for us the use of local produce presented this way was the whole "point" of Acanthum so is highly recommended.

Located in the mainly pedestrian area at Calle Vazquez Lopez 11, adjacent to Plaza Alcade Coto Mora. There are a few tables out front on the pedestrian street, a small bar in front, and a comfortable dining room in back. The menu offers a wide variety of tapas and snacks, augmented by a few main items (both meat and seafood), and pasta and rice dishes. The beer and house wine are very drinkable, and reasonably priced. The vegetarian member of our small group was able to find a couple of dishes to suit, the rest of us chose seafood/veg options; Shrimp croquettes were so so, the eggplant with cane honey (Pavia de Berejena) was battered a bit too heavily, but the grilled cuttlefish (Choco a la Brasa) was expertly done and nicely presented. Service was polite, prompt, and very professional. Expect to pay about 15 euros each including beer/wine, tax and tip.

Great tapas, fair prices, nice service and a change to have a 'crepe con chocolate y nata' desert (for €1.50) on offer. We had the Mini Hamburguesas €2.20, Solomillo al Chimichurry €2.20, Croquettas de Setas (nice & different) €2.20, Patatas Bravas €2.20 and Serranito de Pechuga de Pollo €4. All tapa were generous portions. Drinks - caña de cerveza, zumo & agua mineral - were €1 each.Just be aware that it's a small bar with some inside and outside seating. So go early if you want to be sure to get a table.

Our new approach to finding restaurants in cities is to look for places close by on Tripadvisor once we're actually there. It works better than assuming today's number 1 restaurant really is the best place to go and traipsing across the city to find it closed or whatever. When we did this in Huelva last week, it turned out that we were practically standing outside the number 1 place, so we took this as a good sign! This is an informal restaurant slightly away from city centre, but close to free parking along the river-front and the old Rio Tinto pier. A good place to stretch your legs after eating too much at lunchtime. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, but filled up later.Charming, friendly staff and great food. We had a delicious chicken salad, spicy chicken with noodles, and a fabulous mushroom risotto. Would return if in Huelva.

There are many options for tapas in Huelva, but I personally think this is the best choice. The prices are very reasonable and the food is very tasty. Most importantly, the owners are very kind are will make sure you have a great experience. I'm learning Spanish and am trying to get as much practice as I can. The owner I spoke with recognized this and was very kind to speak very clear, basic Spanish to me and listen carefully to parse my broken Spanish. I appreciated this exchange almost as much as the meal itself.

Not a place that targets tourists (all of the other tables seemed to be locals) so forget the idea of menus in English and waiters speaking Spanglish). Having said that; our waiter/barman was very friendly and cheerful and I am sure that a reasonable phrase book would get you through. The food was fresh and tasty (I had the bacalao in tomato sauce) and the prices reflect that it is a place for locals. Great food, reasonable prices and you'll know that you're in proper Spain!TEMPRAMAREA.Muchísimas gracias por dedicarnos está puntuación y este comentario tan positivo para esta casa eso significa mucho para nosotros y le damos las gracias de nuevo y esperamos volver a verlos por aquí más veces saludos
