We took a group of our collaborators for lunch to the Market today. We had coordinated some details beforehand but definitely it was thanks to Priscilla's attention and amazing service that we had such a pleasant experience. The food was delicious, service was great, prompt, and super courteous. Even having a vegan person have her lunch BTO, everything was seamless. This has been a nightmare at other places but most certainly not here. Thanks Priscilla!Dear Adrian,We´re glad that you enjoyed the food and the service of The Market. Thanks for sharing your comments, your opinion it´s very important for us. Forward to welcome you soon.Best regards,Ricardo Menendez,General Manager.

So many choices in one place, it is hard to pick the right one. I chose one filled up with spicy shredded meat and I was fully satisfied with the flavor and size. It took me a while to get there, though. Ask the counter for advice and they will gladly help. This isn't a cheap place, so make sure it is worth the price. In general terms, I think it is.
This rustic mountain restaurant and bar serves up amazing casados as well as some typical fried bar foods. The ternero, or veal, is a specialty of this mountain area, which is dominated by small family dairies. Everything is prepares in house, and the love shines through in the taste. Be prepared for generous portions at prices you havenât seen in years. There are other good restaurants on this mountain, but this is the one I always go back to. No English is spoken, but the owner, whoâs always there, will still make you feel welcome.

The fact that is almost full most of the time means they are doing something good. -The premises are nice, the restaurant is well kept. Nice size bathrooms and there is always parking at the shopping center.-The food goes from average to good, without ever being outstanding. Stick to the specials if you want value. Coffee and deserts are their best feature.-Service is good, but not necesarily fast.

We visited this restaurant with a small group tour. It is a place patronized by locals, so you will not see many tourists there. The food was fairly typical Costa Rican fare, but very well prepared and presented. The service was excellent.

Very good food, great flavor and good kocation. On my opinion it is a little too exoensive, forcing me to buy one of the cheapest plates on the restaurant. The service was normal, not a big experience and the food took too long to get to our table. Recommended anyways

We have been to this nice restaurant twice now. Both times we were very satisfied with all phases of the experience. The service was attentive, the food was delicious and arrived promptly and the price was a good value. The first time, we had two other couples along and we traded samples of the fare among us. Tried was the chicken crepe, the ham crepe, the trout and the lomito (me). But first - appetizers. The host recommended the Candalaria Croquettes and onion rings. Both were excellent. Crisply fried in some light oil and without any corrupting flavor. The onion rings were a special that day as we were unable to order them on our next visit. It seems they are served only on week-ends. But the croquettes are aplenty - four to a plate with a rich dipping sauce and priced to give great value. Now back to the main courses; I had the lomito (beef) - while it was not bad, it was not great. This is not unusual in Costa Rica. Two of the culinary deficiencies of Costa Rica are the poor quality of the beef and the blandness of their seasonings. Well, the seasonings are just fine here at the Candeleria but the beef is the beef. It's due to the fact that there are no "feed lots" to "finish", or fatten, the beef in Costa Rica. To some this is a plus, as it results in a leaner product but it does diminish the flavor. All that to say, that the next time I got the chicken crepe and it was fully satisfying. Soon I'll go for the trout - my sample had a wonderful flavor. I think you'll enjoy it all.

Located in the Plaza Cariari. Busy spot for drink & eats! Plenty of atmosphere with an all American feel to it. LOVE the NEON. Lots of food choices. Plenty of friendly servers. Hilary from Italy, took great care of us, thanks! Decent sangria, needs more fruit! Say hey to the owner Paul if you can! Go!

This place should remain number 1!!! The place has unbelievable food and great beer selection (local beers and Belgium/German) and the staff is so amazing!!! And open air seating if you like. They played some Metallica videos for me at my request. What a great find. And a short Uber/taxi ride if you are close to airport.

Craft and local Beer, Tica Fusion Cuisine, Alternative Music @Trilogy Pub moments collectors Eat well, Drink Well!
The place all ways has a varied and good section of music.Super chill environment and relaxing time and spend the time playing pool ! AWESOMEE !They have a interesting food and beers combination, they have a long list of Artisan and international beer menu that we can pick and taste different flavors. The only uncomfortable thing, the place is always very crowded so you need went early if you want a good spot. And some times the service is clueless with the orders. An other thing, you can't pay with AMEX, just with VISA, Mastercard or cash, and if you go in car, there are a few parking lots near to the place. However is a nice place to take some beer and snacks with your friends!
