As guests staying in the hotel it was an easy decision to take dinner here on one evening of our stay. Seating is either indoors or on the covered terrace, and as it was Saturday there was a singer accompanied by a couple of musicians; they were all surprisingly good and added to the special atmosphere of the place.We opted for the a la carte as we felt that the pricing for the tasting menus was on the high side for a 1* (in fact they are not dissimilar to a 2*). The food was well prepared and of a very solid 1* standard, using a lot of homegrown produce which is always nice to see. The fish main course could have had a slightly larger portion size as it was a main course rather than part of a tasting menu. The desserts were of a particularly high standard; some aspects showed more technique and finesse than the other courses - it is always good to see a strong pastry section.The service was very good throughout the dinner and it was a very pleasant evening. Darling little restaurant in Chuisdino! We dined her on a Friday night. I had pizza and my husband ordered pasta with wild boar. Both were tasty. Our server was very friendly and even showed us a picture of a wild boar he caught earlier in the week. Lots of laughter and lots of food & wine as we dined el fresco. WE noticed a grandmother type person bringing pizzas, salads and wine from the kitchen to a table of 30-35 people. The more they ate and drank, the more she brought. When we asked are server what was going on he replied, "It is a gathering place. Every Friday night the local families get together to eat, drink and visit with their neighbors" Delightful to watch!

Ate twice here... good food.. not big portions, but well cooked & great flavours. Ate outdoors, eating & people watching- as its situated in the village square. Attentive service. Average prices.

Popped in here for lunch on a rainy Sunday - I had a delicious pizza with porcini mushrooms and my friend had some delicious fresh pasta with lots of truffles. Really good home cooked Italian food and very reasonably priced, worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for lunch Tank ypu

Very nice terrace with a lovely view. The food is quite good overall. I accepted the suggestion of the orata with oranges and marsala and it was excellent. Desserts were also very good and service was impeccable. I personally did not like the pizza that the kids ordered. Also our expert 9 years old agreed with me.
