Appetiser was tasteless. Supposedly crispy chicken salad but no identifiable chicken.Sea bass for main course. Fish was obviously frozen and was not properly defrosted prior to cooking. Fish raw in middle.Overall impression of over hyped restaurant with nobody who can cook.

Not at all impressed. Wednesday on my own. Hungry. No effort made what's so ever. Disgusting taste of over powering cheese which wasn't in my order. Potatoes came out as chips. Vegetables nuked to within an inch of having any nutritional value or taste. An all round waste of 12⬠for a doggy bag.

Having scoured the whole of Montefreo on a Friday Night for a restaurant open we came across Atalayo,the food,service & especially the friendliness of the staff was superb.What a find it was an absolute pleasure to eat their,please give it a try,a little bit of a walk but well worth it - free WiFi tooThank you see yours next year !!

Free tapas with every drink and they were terrific, better that some starters in restaurants we ate at. No English spoken but google translate helped. Smallish menu of superb food, be warned the main course of fried fish is massive and could easily be shared by 2. Excellent bar with friendly atmosphere. Brilliant night out.

Visited on a Tuesday which was quite quiet and as bit wet everyone ate inside. Taps with drinks while ordering very welcome. Large menu choice of which the stand out was baby whitebait starter with peppers which was amazing. Good friendly staff patient with our lack of Spanish. Very reasonable prices rounded off a lovely meal.

This place is authentic Spanish. After visiting the Castillo Fortaleza rabe de la bill and walked the tower. Cold beer is welcome. With each round a small plate of tapas is included.We had in addition half portions of calami - good and croquettes - OK.The set 3 course menu was just 19 euros. Amazing value. You can sit inside or out.

Just returned from Montefrio in Southern Spain. A small town in olive growing hills which is still really Spanish. I visited JOMAY Restaurant and had a really nice meal with my family. The staff are all welcoming and you feel like one of the locals. Although this is not typically a tourist destination, it is worth a visit to see the true Spanish lifestyle.Many thanks for your visit, we are glad that everything has been to your liking.
