We enjoyed a variety of Spanish tapas and wine/ beer. Delicious food. The place really is authentic. All the locals come here too. Very friendly staff.

We visited this lively bar restaurant on our first night. The welcome was great and the lady serving was delightful with our very limited Spanish. She was so encouraging and we felt really welcome! The food was brilliant not to mention the value for money. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome!

Weâve been traveling for three months in Spain and Portugal and we were longing for affordable but different - this was a great place! Great burgers and fries, homemade pizza and nachos! Peter even made us some great margaritas from scratch! Donât expect things to taste exactly like the American equivalents but it was all even better. We had a hard time not getting the basmati rice and curry dish...so many things to choose from. Marta is a wonderful cook and Peter a great bartender. We met a few locals there as well and had good conversation eating and drinking at the bar. There is a dining room however and itâs a great place for families.

We had a late lunch here, sat in the sunshine with excellent food and service, plus delicious wine. Between 2 of us we shared a really tasty aubergine hummous with crudities and yummy bread, goats cheese croquettas which were definitely home made and came with a red berry sauce (maybe cranberry) - very indulgent and yummy. Then we shared a caeser salad which was lovely and fresh (for a change the chicken wasn't deep fried!), the chicken had obviously just been cooked for us and was very tender and succulent, and it had just the right amount of dressing so as not to drown it.Not knowing how big these dishes were, we even tried to order an artisan burger, but the lovely lady who runs it told us it was probably too much, but if we wanted it afterwards she would of course still make it. She was right! We were stuffed with the 3 dishes!!Easily the best lunch we had in Sierra Nevada, and not silly prices.

I was traveling alone and decided to visit for a beverage and dinner. I sat outside waited for service which never arrived and so ordered inside instead from the bar staff who were more interested in hanging around and cleaning. After my beer I ordered a hamburger upon the recommendation of the waiter. It arrived quickly but severely under cooked, raw, and still cold in the middle. I gracefully explained to the waiter who offered no apology and swiped it from my hand to have it cooked more. A poorly managed restaurant with staff who don't know the first thing about customer service.

Summer time: Great place to stop after a long hike in the mountains. Easy parking, right in front of the chalet.Winter time: Same but with the difference you may ski there as long as there are snow in the Virgen de las Nieves area. You will get great food and great service for a very good price.The views are breathtaking, and you will have the chance to taste real tapas at 2.000 mts. above the sea level for very reasonables prices considering you are in Sierra Nevada. The owner is a very nice guy and makes sure you and your friends get what you need.

Good choice of drinks and mid-range food. Children allowed but notice on entrance stipulates they must behave. Small with music playing , very busy.

After hiking the top we went for lunch in the village and chose La Visera. Dining outdoor at the terrace we had great view to the hills and to the summer activity centre. The food was very tasty. He had Pizza, Chicken fingers, burgers, nachos and chicken wings.
