Here one gets the tastiest food with a local flavor. The atmosphere is homely and soothing, and the whole place is very well decorated. I went with my girlfriend and once we sat down for dinner we felt like spending the whole night there. This is what I was looking for when travelling the countryside.

Located in a gorgeus tiny village of the Empordà , this restaurant is specially charming because of its lovely décor. The dinning-room is covered in wood, with furniture and a wide range of details in alpine style. The chef has impecable credencials, with a great experience in French cuisine. You can taste well-elaborated seasonable dishes, including vegetables, fish and meat. A gourmet restaurant, fresh and delicious food. Very nice serving! The portions are exactly in a good size. And all for a price beyond fair! (Except the vegan dish (salad and Sweet potato puree) that was charged above what is expected. The place is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is pleasant. Not really suitable for young children, there are no special dishes for them. Even though our 8 Years son loved the main course ! There is no baby chair. Jean-Sebastien and his crew were so kind and patient with our group of 30 teenagers on a school trip! The food was fresh and plentiful and served with a smile. Huge, tasty portions and yummy desserts. We loved it. The location, just steps from the Dali Museum, is perfect for a visit to Figueres. Highly recommended!

Before heading off to the Dali Theatre-Museum, we decide to go for a bite to eat at this charming little restaurant near the museum and the Rambla. As it was a beautiful sunny day, we had our meal on the terrace. The owner is French and this is clearly reflected in the menu. Everything sounded delicious and the plates that paraded out from the kitchen were all tempting. We made our selection from the lunch menu and were thrilled about our choices. Everything was fresh and carefully presented and served. It is certainly in my top ten best lunches that I had during this trip and would welcome an opportunity to return for a sampling of more delicious offerings from the menu. If lunch is this good, I would definitely try this place for dinner!
