With an unprepossessing exterior the place forms part of a small shopping precinct with ample parking available. Inside the decor is informal and modern with well-spaced wood tables and simple chairs. Contemporary jazz played in the background. There are 2 fixed-price menus and the carte. We chose one of the latter, majoring in meat (the other focussed on seafood). To begin we were given a little pre-appetiser - and little perfectly describes the offering. 2 tiny quarters of pickled radish, a tartare and fritter, all held in place by what tasted like a bought-in mayo. Next came a small aubergine fritter caoted in breadcrumbs with carrot puree and diced fennel. Next came a tartare of veal with shredded white cabbage and pearls of what appeared to be beetroot. Pasta squares filled with rabbit were accompanied by a sauce with cherry tomatoes. The main course was three tiny pieces of duck breast with a small piece of roasted cauliflower, and splashes of a red fruit sauce and pan juices. The pre-dessert was a cream topped pistachio mousse, while the main dessert incuded an extremely odd baba flavoured with caper berries - a combo which I still haven't gotten over. This was at the recommendation of the single waiter/maitre d' and I just wish I'd chosed differently.

I have had a few chances to visit during the "set lunch" hours, and I must say the permanent promotion is excellent value for money. Although not vast, the buffet on offer is broad enough to satisfy most palates. Also the choice of desserts suitably matches the variety of second courses displayed. First courses are the only ones to be ordered from the waiters, who are generally efficient and courteous enough, in spite of the peak attendance around 1 pm.The price includes drinks (water and wine).I would like to be back to try the à -la-carte dishes in the evening.

We stopped in Forlì on our way to the coast but finding an open restaurant at Ferragosto proved to be tricky. We accidentally drove by this place and decided to give it a try. Friendly staff, great bread while you wait your mains, v good primo piatto. So, a pleasant surprise!

The quality of everything I ate was very good.If you go for a pizza, I would certainly recommend the upgrade to a 7 cereals flour, something I had never tasted before. Service is at good level and quantities are consistent. Price is reasonable for what you get. If you have kids, there's a playing area in the private garden.

We had no reservations for a Saturday night but they seated us. What Luck and what a great experience. Had English menus too! Lovely friendly staff who work hard. Great pastas and seafood dishes. The meats were tender too. The profiteroles were smothered in chocolate pudding! Unbelievably delightful. The pastas were great. The cheeses were terrific. Very popular and has rear parking. Grat restaurant in the center of Forlì, ideal position if you are here for the Liberty exhibition. Dishes come from the tradition, with a careful selection of local ingredients."Passatelli" are very tasty, and also the filetto di maiale (pork). Fast service and quite convenient prices.

We were starving for a good meal after a full day of driving. We found Arquebuse on a whim and ate so glad we did. The entire staff was awesome and it has a cozy atmosphere and good food! We especially loved the dessert we got â mascarpone served in a crispy thin chocolate waffle.

We've been to Convivio a dozen times or so over the last few years, it just keeps getting better and better, I've tried the vegetarian, fish and meat set menus and various dishes from the a la carte menu, you can tell that a lot of care goes into each and every dish, the shallot and Parmesan ice cream starter is out of this world and fortunately seems to be on the menu all year round, don't fill up on the 8 different kinds of bread they bring you, save some room for one of their amazing desserts, fig and squaquerone creme brûlée anyone?
