Sunday lunch for a party of four hungry guys was excellent throughout. This is a popular local restaurant, somewhat difficult to find, but well worth the effort. The specialities are Pasta Ragu and Bistecca a la Fiorentina. With are incredible and the steak is amazing value. There is also a very good selection of antipasti and desserts. One comes our of this place well satisfied. Good ingredient and simple cooking.A good selection of local wines at very reasonable mark-ups goes well with the steak.

This is Italy we love.Arrived on Saturday night after about 500 km drive. Recommended by the owner of a nearby Villa Nobile B&B.Big Italian family dining, couples, friends, tourist, a lot of noise and great atmosphere, great Italian cuisine, friendly service.Taxi or car needed to reach.Really pleasant experience, 1005 recommended.

My fiancé and I recently dined here while scouting venue locations and were pleasantly surprised. We stopped in late one evening after most patrons had left without any expectations. But wow. The food was simple yet perfectly cooked. We had Ribollita, Cacio e Pepe, and Bisteca Fiorentinaâall spectacular. A perfect example of Tuscan food. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the owner / chef and sampling some of his homemade infusions. We fell in love with this spot and in fact hope to bring our family and wedding party back for dinner next year when we get married nearby!

We had spent a day in Florence and had called our agriturismo for suggestions for a restaurant and this was their suggestions. They took all 14 of us. The servers tolerated our lack of Italian and were extremely helpful when it came to making suggestions! We had wonderful pizzas and pasta- possibly our best meal to that date despite our time in Venice!

SO friendly and accommodating as we had a 3 year old and 15 month old and a large groupFood is excellent and the Bisotecca is fabulous. we tried Giusti across the street and it is a 2 and PiazzaMagno is a 10!!..very reasonable prices, clean and friendly.cannot say enough about the food and the people who own it.Bellisimo!!

Dinner with friends in this wonderful country hamlet. The food is five star, the setting is wonderful but the cherry on the cake was the enthusiastic service from the owner who evidently has a passion for what she does. Absolutely phenomenal!Incredible place where to enjoy the essence of Tuscany... it cannot be missed!Top service: staff absolutely nice and professional. The Manager Francesca is truly constantly around ensuring that the service works smoothly and guests are happy with their dishes. I was really impressed.The Menu is very nice and offers a nice variety of local dishes, tartare is very good and the tuscan crostini are just the best I ever tried in the region.Wine: the selection of wine is obviously just top quality because of Frescobaldi family winery. Interesting selection of rosè and red.I will go back again very soon, and bring over friends because this place is really a jam in the area, 25â away from Florence.Grazie Il Quartino Team for this experience!!!

We spent 6 nights in Pontassieve and we spent three of those evenings at Sandrino´s! It was crowded every night and this was in the end of October. They serve very good pizza, pasta and other food as well. The place is familyrun. The son was our waiter every time we were there. He ( and the whole family) is so serviceminded and friendly, and he speeks really good English. We finished off every dinner with a nice Aperol Spritz for the adults and icecream for the children.
