Unfortunately we went to La Capannina on a Friday, hoping to talk, not dance. There is live music of indifferent quality but very loud. At the other end of the large, open air establishement, it was hard to hear normal conversation. The restaurant looks out to a saphire sea with the white cliffs of Conero behind, a splendid location with cool breezes (bring a jacket). The seafood antipasti were exceptionally good and well-presented. Pastas were good, tasty and filling. No substitutions or variations are possible on Fridays. As the restaurant emptied, the wait staff melted and response time lenghtened. We had given up on dessert; it was taken off the bill and then suddenly appeared as we were getting ready to leave. The bathroom had no toilet paper. The door first wouldn't close and then got stuck and was hard to unlock. Parking is tricky. I'd go again for the views and antipasti, but not on Friday.

Un localino molto accogliente, con diversi tavoli all'interno e d'estate un dehor davvero romantico: primi piatti espressi, stuzzichini vari, insalatone e buona scelta di vini e birre. Buoni e particolari anche i desserts (come i cheese cake e la mousse... ma cambiano ogni giorno). Le olive all'ascolana sono molto buone. Servizio rapido e affabile. Prezzi onesti. Consigliamo
