Avoid this place! Not existing service and horrible customer experience. Bakery is nice but not worth the price. Cannot pay with credit card while this should be compulsory in any commercial shop in Italy

We are regular visitors to Scalea and this bar is our go-to for breakfast, dinner and drinks. Run by Luca and his charming wife Rossana the bar offers a delicious American breakfast to set you up for a day on the beach and then you can return for aperitivo, dinner and late evening drinks. Luca is a big music fan so the recorded sounds on offer are always the very latest from his extensive playlist and once a week during the season a live band plays on the open air terrace. The drinks menu is extensive with every conceivable cocktail to interest you and 'specials' made to order if you're a connoisseur. For eats, there's a wide choice from authentic burgers (available at both lunch and dinner time), salads, pancakes and sandwiches so you won't leave unsatisfied. With its central location Bar Genova is in pole position amongst the other bars and eateries in town to satisfy your every need at any time of the day. Scalea just wouldn't be Scalea for us without Bar Genova.

Per la prima volta sono stata in questo locale, ubicato sul lungo mare nuovo, gestito da persone giovani e sorridenti.Con la famiglia ho avuto modo di degustare e il dolce e il salato e siamo rimasti soddisfattissimi.I cornetti sono veramente squisiti, certamente fra i migliori di Diamante, e così anche la rosticceria: buonissimi i panini napoletani e i calzoni al forno.Prezzi modici.Consigliato!
