En la calle del ayuntamiento en Benarraba hay varios bares. Uno de ellos es este bar. Se agradece después de andar por el pueblo para tomar una cerveza y unas tapas. Los choricitos, callos y ensaladillas muy buenos.

At Portesuelo you feel att home att once you come in the doors. It has a genuine lokal atmosfear. The lokals eat here or come for a drink and a chat. I hope you will found your way to this place! Mama Antonia runs the kitchen and the breakfast omelette is superb. we have also eaten lunch and dinner here and the food is always good. It is unfortunate for those of us who live locally that they close for several weeks in the winter.

This is a reliable tapas bar in the town. It is quite some way in and parking is a challenge so best to walk in if possible. There is lots of choice and the portions of food are large so be careful not to over order. The staff are friendly and they are open on a Sunday when others are closed.

Had great meal here on our last night in Colmenar . Unfortunately as we were going to bed early we went there early at 8 pm so it was empty and so not much atmosphere but the fish was so fresh it was amazing . Only thing was the aubergine starter was so huge I wish I had just had a main . Friends had the onion soup and it too was huge so just be warned but all round lovely food

My husband and I stopped here for lunch on a visit to Gaucin.We were shown a tray of fresh fish and were both tempted by the sea bass. The meal was delicious. Very fresh and beautifully cooked not to mention reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and we were made to feel very welcome.

Great view from inside the venta over the Spanish countryside. Lovely service from the waiter; the food was delicious. We had a tomato & mackerel salad, ensaladilla rusa, croquettas, albondigas, carrillada & some lomo iberico. Home made chips to top it off. Fabulous.

Remembering this bar/restaurant from over 10Years ago, it was delightful to go back. Same lovely family running it, great friendly service. We enjoyed tapas there at lunchtime and went for an eve meal - grilled squid and pork were both delicious.

Always a wonderful welcome from Paul and Synnove in this great family-run bar. Excellent homemade burgers cooked to order, amazing range of beers, varied tapas, large terrace, relaxing atmosphere with fantastic views of the mountains and service with a smile! There is often live music and there's a beer festival in October. Highly recommended. We visited several times during our holiday and can't wait to return.

We visited yesterday for lunch. We sat on the terrace, enjoying the beautiful views and welcome breeze. Five of us had 3 tapitas each and we all had a couple of drinks, a mixture of beers, wines and soft drinks. The owner is a lovely, friendly guy. Very welcoming and helpful. The food was very tasty and there was a great selection. We loved the mini hotdog with onion marmalade and mustard. We couldn't believe the bill - 35 euros for all of that lovely homemade food and drink. Give it a try.
