Llegamos cerca de las 16:00hs y la cocina estaba abierta, importante para nosotros que llegábamos a Miramar sin nada para comer.Las ensaladas son muy buenas, lo mismo que las picadas.La atención es muy buena.

Sorprende enormemente poder encontrar en Miramar un restaurante tan intimista, tranquilo y de buena cocina y encima totalmente apartado del centro. El lugar es conocido como casa de té, con un jardÃn enorme donde poder merendar y tomar sus caseros tes y sus deliciosas tortas, también caseras, bajo los árboles, en lo que en algunos rincones da la sensación de estar en medio del bosque. El lugar también es conocido por contar con un laberinto hecho con arbustos que es la locura para los niños. Sin embargo, el "Resto", que es un pequeño quincho al lado de la casa de te, se caracteriza por la discreción, la intimidad y la tranquilidad, tanto es asà que piden que no se venga con niños, y eso si que es un reto en Miramar!! El restaurante es encantador, con apenas 6 mesas en dos pequeños salones entre una biblioteca llena de libros con criterio un tanto ecléctico y colecciones de objetos por las estanterÃas que no dejan indiferente.... Se respira un ambiente familiar que se confirma cuando Bernard te atiende la mesa. Tanto el menú como la carta de vinos son cortitos, y aunque la variedad y cantidad de vinos podrÃa mejorar la comida es el plato fuerte: pasta, ñocones de queso, salmón con tres presentaciones y acompañamientos distintos, pollo con igual variedad de posibilidades y bondiola, que puede ser a la salsa de mostaza o a la de ciruelas. Para la bondiola hay que llamar con un dÃa de antelación pues necesitan más de tres horas para su punto de cocción y sólo la hacen por encargo, y os aseguro que vale la pena probarla, no deja en obsoluto indiferente! Espectacular!! Toda la comida que sirven se nota que la cocinan al momento y al más puro estilo casero.

Fuimos varias veces en nuestra estadia en Miramar, llegabamos temprano y comimos bien, sino hay que esperar mucho en temporada alta. Excelente la entraña, de los poquisimos lugares q ofrecen buena ensalada de berro. Recomiendo la provoleta . Precio de los vinos muy bien, no te matan . Cubierto $20.Los mozos que no lo son, son chicos que en el año tienen otros oficios y se nota que no les gusta lo que hacen pero es asi en toodoss los lugares. Esta en la costanera, de facil acceso en auto y tiene un excelente cuidacoches. Una noche se corto la luz en la zona y tuvieron la deferencia de cobrar igual con tarjeta conectando un generador electrico . Bien , otro en su lugar ni se molesta !! .

If you want Seafood in Miramar then this is the place. Amazing portions and FRESH! Large place and can get noisy but its Holiday time and you will only need to order half the dishes to be totally full!

My wife and I had dinner at Don Avelino two of the past three days. It's amazing. The filets (lomos), spice dishes for the filets, and unique jaggedly-cut fries, are wonderful. My Argentine wife says the chorizo is excellent too. The atmosphere here is vibrant. It was packed at 10:30 last night. The waiters and waitresses all work together to meet your needs. This is one of my favorite "steakhouses" anywhere. I dig around for them in the United States and in Argentina.

We went back a second night because we enjoyed our first dinner so much. This is near the end of the walking street, La Peatonal, and is a nice option if you are looking for more than pizza, ice cream and empanadas. Try the ravioli with squash sauce or the lomito in cerveza negra sauce.

Just go here. The place is fantastic. The atmosphere is wonderful. You can see the kitchen. I had Lenguado Margarita, a sole dish in a cream sauce with little shrimps and mussels. It doesn't come much better.

Had great dinner here. Wel designed place which is very popular. Busy and bit noisy but good atmosphere. Salmon with leek is very nice. The Lomo comes with three pieces of meat which is too much for European standards. Toilets clean. Enough parking, give the old man a tip. Waiter was unclear about not having limoncello. There is really no coffee as dessert!
