This restaurant has been around for 50 years they make traditional basque food, the waiter suggested garlic shrimp it was delicious the main course pescado a la Vasca was excellent too. The price was fair a great find I hope I will be back. Don´t expect fancy modern decor or fusion food its just great no make up food in a local setting.

Cannot believe that this place has not appeared on Trip Advisor. Without doubt this is second only to El Cuartito in Buenos Aires. Long established restaurant, always full and great fun. Two ladies sing and play piano Tango music, noisy but quite wonderful!!! They will also chat to the customers who are happy to do so. Pizzas are truly wonderful, understand that one of the ladies was recently on TV, mentioning unusual ingredients such as spinach and rocket. But you MUST try the Fugazetta, with onions and mozarella......bad for your health....but, hey...we only live once!!! It is amaziing!!Certainly one of the best meals I have had in MDP, cannot wait for a return visit.Service was excellent in every respect...whole experience was fabulous!

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was a lot of fun. The great thing about this place is that it's a closed door restaurant, so you call ahead for reservations. We were served a dish of potatoes and meat together, as well as some sushi-- the chef was showcasing her award winning sushi. We the had live music while eating dessert. I highly recommend going to this restaurant if you get a chance, for a fun night with a great environment.Hi Kristen! it was such a pleasure to meet you, and thanks for visit our country. Hope you come here often and call us to dinner in our place. Greetings from all the staff :)

We were the first to arrived but we had to wait an hour and half to be served. We told them twice that the kids food should be served as soon it’s possible. But they didnt do it or cared. The Restaurent opens at 8:30pm so u can imagine how hungry the kids were.My sons pasta was very salted and we did mention it to the waiter. My plate was ok but also too much salt. Over all not an experience I care to repeat. Poor for the service.
