We booked through The Fork. Really good traditional restaurant, well appointed service, good atmosphere. You may be confused about the location: a little bit hidden close to a small channel in the countryside of a a suburban location. This is a winter oriented space, many wooden pieces of furniture, ancient style. Pasta is really something, any way. Meat is precious. The very super gem of the venue is GELATO MANTECATO with balsamic vinegar. Try it!!!Dear Customer we are very grateful for such a precise and positive review. Concerning the location it is indeed a bit hidden, but thatâs one of the beauties of our place. A small corner of the XIX century Bologna, when the city was full of waterways and the conductors of trade barges were stopping buy to have their lunch in our establishment. Thatâs is also why wooden décor is dominant. Many customers (luckily) enjoy the whole also during summer. We have a cute veranda or cool rooms inside. We hope to see you again soon.

Nearly in the countryside, not easy to find, and much harder to get a table if not reserved many days in advance. Once there, you're hit by the noise and confusion. Resist, and start with the exceptional selection of hors d'oeuvre, the great bruschetta with tomatoes, served as default. Desserts also very good. Dishes are generous and prices low for Bologna's standard. 25-35 for a full dinner.

Quando a Bologna non vi sono fiere e l'hotel non è al completo lo staff dell'hotel Persico's organizza cene con la possibilità di ballare qualche ballo di gruppo o balli lisci. Ampia sala dove si riesce a trascorrere ore liete. Buono il lambrusco e le rosette come primo. Tutti felici e contenti

Went here for a business dinner - 4 people. The food and service is fantastic. Great pastas and meats. Service is quick and very friendly. Fresh food is the standard here! Great setting and smiles from every person serving you. We had pasta for Prima and meat for Secondi and both were outstanding. The owner is a real character and speaks some words in 7 different languages. If you are nearby, definitely recommend a visit here. I doubt you would be disappointed.

Il proprietario gentile ti accogli e ti mette a tuo agio subito, poi abbiamo scelto di prendere crescentine e tigelle e finalmente ho trovato le crescentine che piacciono a me, belle grosse morbide e poco unte, fritte al momento. La pasta è fatta veramente in casa e si sente. Semplice ma veramente buono, se non cercate il locale chic questo fa al caso vostro.

Perfect lunch, if a little too much meat chosen, but this is the place for beef. Courtesy antipasto of small soft white cheese and bruschetta; carne crudo (tartare like); lasagne; fruit with pastry. Red sparkling Lambrusco. True taste of the region and the family's fare.

Excellent home cooking in pleasant surroundings. All pasta, made on the premises, is delicious. Good selection of wines as well as local pignoletto by the carafe. Very friendly staff and the boss speaks very good English! Worth a detour!

One of the friendliest places to eat in town, with great Italian food. All pasta is home made with great wine at a good price.Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful in explaining the menu. If you're in the area give these guy's a go!
