This little gem is a great family restaurant. We were warmly welcomed as soon as we crossed the door. The menu is typically Italian and in Italian as well! They have the usual Italian fare plus local specialties like snails and horse meat. The food was great, with large portions and the chef (owners wife!) came out to make sure we were enjoying our meal. It was good home cooked country meal. I could not have asked for more. The owner even treated us to a glass of local grappa at the end of the meal. Even got a kiss by the chef! Like mom use to do!! Highlight of our Benevento trip.

Entri pensando che sia un Pub ed esci consapevole di essere stato in un ristorante dove i prodotti genuini e la loro qualità si distinguono in ogni portata. Nulla di sofisticato... ma piatti unici e sapori di una volta che la buona Rosaria cucina con sapienza e maestria stando sempre attenta ai minimi dettagli. Per una serata ci siamo sentiti curati e non solo con il cibo tanto che quando siamo andati via abbiamo subito pensato di tornare, questa volta però di venerdì..... si cucina pesce...... Ve lo consigliamo.... una bella realtà in un piccolo paese.

Our host Antonio was exemplary and looked after us as kings. The food was to die for. Everything is prepared from their own ingredients made or grown in the familyThe ragu papadelle was outstanding - how can I explain? This was like the best food Nonna or Zia ever made for you. Maybe I had too much wine - but this was Home made too and was divine The perfect cantina last lunch - I will be back! If I could le give you 6 stars I would. Thank you Antonio - it wasnât just lunch, it was an experience!

Quando sono in zona mi fermo spesso, si mangia bene, una cucina casereccia. La scelta del menu del giorno, è composto da 2 primi, 3 secondi, vari contorni. I prezzi sono molto contenuti. Qualità prezzo ottimo.Il servizio è efficiente e veloce Lo consiglio a tutti, un amico mi ha detto che fanno un ottima pizza.

1°impressione: Un gioiellino di locale, confortevole e ben arredato in funzione della struttura portante, il dehor è altrettanto grazioso ed anche romantico.2°impressione: Lo chef è bravo e creativo "al punto giusto"e raggiunge in molti piatti una piena eccellenza, dovuta non tanto alle forti materie prime ricercate e d'alta qualità , ma ad un'innata spiccata sensibilità e delicatezza; frutto non dello studio o del territorio e nemmeno dell'esperienza, ma dal suo talento intrinseco (questo si percepisce dalla basica crespella sino al dolce più elaborato) naturalmente non sarà d'accordo come tutte le toque, ma fortunatamente questo è trip advisor :uno strumento rivolto principalmente ai consumatori ed ai viaggiatori, altrimenti si chiamerebbe " trip colristoratore "o "tripcon l'albergatore".3°impressione: Veloce, attento ed informale il servizio e ..."la cucina"... della simpatica/dinamica/reattiva ,padrona di casa, Francesca.( Bisogna aumentare la portanza idrica a Foglianise; lavastoviglie e bagno ne risentono).Infine, ho notato che ci sono prelibatezze fuori menù, che i clienti abituali richiedono, soddisfattissimi,perciò non soffermatevi solo alla carta.E , qualora fosse disponibile, chiedete aiuto. Insomma, un percorso tutto da scoprire...

In zona per lavoro ho cenato diverse volte qui in questo bel ristorante che appartiene al hotel Lemi,qui il sorriso e la gentilezza sono di casa,la proposta del menù è ampia dalla pizza assolutamente buona,il baccalà nelle sue proposte ha colto in me quasi laperfezione,per non parlare della proposta dei vini adeguata.Ottimo ambiente caldo e accogliente

As an Italian-American, I consider good food one of the most enjoyable things in life. We walked all over Benevento one night and happened upon Cocotte, not far from Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi. The decor was interesting and attractive so we decided to take a chance having done no research on Benevento restaurants. We were richly rewarded for our long walk with excellent seafood and friendly/competent service. We were so impressed that we dined here on 2 of our 3 nights in town.
