This is a fabulous little restaurant promoting itself as selling artisanal pizzas. The long and short of it is that there is a wide choice of toppings, the pizzas are "home-made", really good quality and at a price that won't break the bank - 10⬠was about typical for a 31cm pizza. The pasta dishes were great too, and the service was excellent. Not open every evening, so check in advance, and opening time seemed to be 8.30 rather than 8 as stated on the website. Best restaurant we visited this holiday.

On a Sunday night in Mataró we werenât expecting to find a good meal but saw the reviews of this pizzeria on TA so made a reservation. This restaurant could be easily overlooked and some would be put off by its lack of glamour but donât be. It is a small, family run restaurant with caring and attentive service and quite honestly the best pizza I have ever had! No exaggeration! Really! If you live near Mataró then you are very lucky to have this lovely restaurant to eat at! Many many thanks!

We stayed in a nearby apartment and bought pizzas on two occasions from PizzOria. Such a brilliant take-away resto and such wonderful, friendly staff. We waited in the shop whilst the pizzas were freshly made before our eyes! Thin crisp bases with excellent toppings, full of flavour. The staff took time to speak to us and knew where we came from - Belfast!. We will certainly return to PizzOria thoroughly recommend the pizzas ans service to all pizza-lovers! Many thanks!

It is an outstanding italian restaurant, no matter what you choose. Pastas, risottos or pizzas are top quality and varied. Their capacity to mix great quality ingredients is unique. Service is very good and the owner makes sure you enjoyed it. You can eat inside or in a terrace, enjoying the nice weather.I felt I was in italy and that doesn't happen to me normally in other countries.

Certainement le meilleur italien que nous ayons jamais fait !The two chiefs were really warm, smiling and friendly and shared their love and pride of the Italian cuisine with pleasure. We enjoyed the fresh products and the good taste of the meals and finished in a blaze of glory with handmade panacotta and tiramisu.

The food here was amazing ! The pizza was cooked in front of us freshly baked and fresh toppings, the waiter was lovely and everything came out in good time with a great taste. We have gone back to this place and again same great service definitely recommend!

This is one of those places that if you have to drive to get here it will be totally worthwhile, and of you are nearby is a must to visit. We just had a chance to talk to the Chef, he is the father of the owner and has the passion to make your pallet experience the delicious flavors filling your mouth. Ariela suggested the pizza with the name of the restaurant, the Mika and it was the best pizza I have ever had. The new desert with Nutella, Frangelico and nuts is to die for.

As you noticed already by looking here, there are a great number of very mixed reviews here. This is due to tourists who come to Cabrils region being overwhelmed by its settings and atmosphere - which de'L Hort also has. If you dont care about anything else, then L'Hort is probably great!If you care about decent service and great food at decent prices, then you will not find it here. Despite nice looking setting, the large terrace between the trees is littered with cigarette butts, and dog excrements (great when visiting with a toddler). Seating seems to be inflexible, despite empty tables, waiters are more interested in their smartphones and chatting between each other than taking care of guest. It took them over 10min alone to come and bring the menu. Our order took another 25min; a pasta dish, a pizza and a salad! Obviously the salad had to be grown first, so fully understandable!Everything was slow and the service tiresome at best. Alone getting an extra glass took 10min!If you prefer self-service a dirty ground, slowest most dis-interested waiting staff in Catalonia, and a overpriced kids menu (12 Euro for a small tomato pizza, and a bottle of water!) then you will find L'Hort the place to be!
