Food was fantastic, absolutely brilliant. Atmosphere and host were equally good, honestly lovely. Family all agreed. Setting was also great, courtyard with an open roof and also a traditional enclosed area. Very cosy without feeling small. Couldnât rate highly enough. Ate there every day once we found it.

Best restaurant on the planet. Every single time I have been here I have been elevated to levels of ecstasy previously unknown by man. A must before you die. Don't go during the summer season. Had lunch and dinner here endless times and each time is like a journey through the cosmos.

Well situated restaurant in Pineda very near the stationAlways very popular so you should reserve for the weekendFixed price menu is usually really good and is four courses (with big portions)A la carte we had the Black Rice which was really good, and the rice pudding which was deliciousCoffee is consistently good here (although they didnât invite us for the chupito like they used to)As always a bit slow serving (even in off season at the beginning of February!)

A fabulous find . Can't rave enough about this place . Excellent food excellent staff and so clean . I am a coeliac and they provided freshly baked gf baguette for me . Well versed in gf as owners children coeliac. Still on holiday but can't wait to go back really left an impression on us . Restaurant was renovated recently and now it looks modern and fashion. It is pretty big too, it could accommodate some mid-event (small wedding). It also has some private rooms.They have a pretty broad menu where fish and seafood are the main stars. Everything I tasted was pretty good. It is a bit overpriced, but you eat pretty well here. It has a covered terrace. Had super family dinner here last night. Great mix of local dishes with some burgers and steaks also. Cheerful engaged staff took time to explain any queries we had. Excellent wine list. Most customers were Spanish/Catalan with a lot of regulars judging by interactions with staff....always a good sign. We booked 48 hours in advance and on the night it was fully booked from 8pm on. Visited on recommendation from our hotel. The service was excellent. The waiter greeted us warmly and offered menus in several languages including Spanish, French, Italian, and English. He spoke to us in English. He smiled and was playful with the children. We asked for his recommendation of seafood and really enjoyed the mixed seafood and grilled fish. Food was well cooked and seasoned and we absolutely enjoyed everything. The prices were excellent value, can't stress that enough. Hopefully the pictures speak for themselves. Can't wait to return one more time during this holiday!

Last summer I passed by Pineda de Mar and was lucky enough to come across Restaurant Diagonal. The seafood paella was amazing and I recommend it to everyone who dines there. On top of the amazing food the staff were fantastic, very hospitable and kind. Definitely a must when visiting Pineda de Mar.
