We walked over to this place very easily from our accommodation at Agriturismo Collelago. The service, food and wine were all great, and the price was really reasonable. We especially liked the stuffed fried olives - apparently an ascolano speciality - delicious!

Superb location in Piazza Peretti. We arrived while it was still light and left after dark on a warm evening. The setting has great ambience. Friendly staff and good service. This is a wine bar so limited food choices but the platters and salads we chose were all excellent. We all felt it was good value for money. Around â¬20 per head including wine and beers and on average a platter/ salad each.

No menus, drink lists or other formalities...Fresh catch of the day will be prepared to your liking and served by the charismatic chef (owner?) himself. He will make sure you get a great deal of attention and the best seafood around.Me and my family enjoyed a delicious 9-course (!) appetizer set including various kinds of shelfish, calamari, octopus, baked and deep fried fish, greatest mussels in white wine sauce followed by an exotic Monk fish, tender and flavorful.Great experience. Period.
