I went to Caminito last night with my wife and 2 very good friends and we had a superb dinner. If you like good steak washed down with an excellent Malbec then Caminito is your place. The owner is a delightful and knowledgeable man. The food is cooked to perfection. The potatoes with Gorgonzola or the roasted sweet potatoes make an excellent accompaniment to the meat. The French fries could be a little more imaginative but that is a very small point. It is rapidly becoming my favourite restaurant in Albir (and Iâve eaten out in Albir for over 25 years). It is usually quite busy even when other nearby restaurants are empty which in my book is an excellent sign. I recommend that you give it a try.

We had heard how good Ian's was and tried to book in the day we arrived but beware it was fully booked up for 2 nights.We booked in for the Thursday night and I pre ordered lobster Thermidor which I thought for lobster was very reasonable. We arrived at the restaurant, and immediately noticed what a great atmosphere there was. The owners were great and very friendly. The food arrived and -WOW! The lobster was sensational my wife's food was also delightful, the sauces were to die for.If you want really great food, great atmosphere and outstanding service go to Ian's restaurant we loved, loved, loved it.Johnk

visited here with family friday 4th january 2018 early evening . i am giving the exact date so the owner can be clear who was working. carbon is a very nice restaurant with fantastic views. we had called in earlier in week for coffee and drinks and was served by a lovely waitress which prompted us to return as the food being served looked so nice. the food on the night in question was very nice. some had the ribs others Hawaiian chicken . two of the men shared a meat platter which was nice but the sides with it are very sparse.. but the bit i really want to tell other travelers is about the waiter. there was only us and 1 other lady in this massive restaurant and he actually had the audacity to tell us to stop asking for extras separately and if we wanted anything else to tell him all at once.. i was horrified . when you ask for extras you are actually adding to the bill. why would any waiter be so rude when the restaurant is empty????? we ate our dinner and left without having sweets or coffees ....obviously we didnt want to disturb him anymore. we paid our bill with no tip. our night was ruined by this idiot who should not be in the hospitality industry. i'm sure the owner would have been gutted by his behavior. and if he was the owner he is in the wrong trade, pity as the chef did well.Desde gerencia sentimos mucho su experiencia, no teniamos conocimiento de la actitud de este camarero, le pedimos disculpas a la vez que agradecemos su comentario. Visited in February with friends so when I came to Benidorm again with my mum and sister I knew I had to come back to Amigos. I emailed to mention my mum couldnât manage the stairs and received an email straight back to say a table downstairs would be waiting for us. We had starters of fish cakes and mushrooms, both dishes were fantastic. Then mains of fillet steak, lamb and prawns. Meals were all beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The waitress that looked after us was friendly and made time to have a little chat with us. Well done again Amigos and I hope your bar opposite does as well as the restaurant, you deserve it.
