The title of this reviews pretty much sums it all up.While the attitude and politeness is certainly there, the red flag for me was the waiter taking the food back from our table too quickly !

Excellent food at low prices. Aims mostly at take-away, but you can eat in. I only whish they would move to Clare, where I could visit more often.

Always a great place to get some curry from. All of the naan breads are awesome but the potato one is my personal favourite.
As far as the curries go you can't ignore the Beef Vindaloo, but the Lamb Korma, Kadai Chicken and also the Fish curry are well worth your time. The chicken tikka is also something that goes well with any curry choice.
The customer service is friendly and you don't have to wait long for your meals.

There are better places to dine. This place is not a good atmosphere as I was ordering one of the staff did not realize I could see them and was obviously not happy to be at work. They forgot my granddaughters meal and bought meals apart some had almost finished while others just getting meals. Don't bother

Great place to stop and have a coffee or lunch. Situated right next door to Target. Service was friendly and quick. I tried the scones with cream which were lovely. The crepes with chicken and leak were very yummy and beautifully presented with salad on the side.

Travelway Motel

We found this motel just by searching on Google. From the reviews it looked fine so we thought we'd give it a go as we were on our way across Australia. They are extremely nice rooms with tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, flat screen TVs, hairdryer, ironing board, table and chairs.
We had dinner in their restaurant, I had Thai Green Curry and hubby had Rib Eye steak, both were excellent and good portion sizes.

Sat and watch locals pour into and out of Shop. Very popular. My premade roll was tasty and the coffee good. Next trip I will try the Asian specialties. I see comments about service and my observations are the staff were quick and with "no Fuss". they are trying to serve as many people as possible and that is why the prices are low.

Risdon Hotel

Reviewed By AJR_12315 - Bordeaux, France

Recommended by the Port Pirie Regional Visitor Center to try the water hole for a bite, we found around 30 locals there on a Monday lunchtime.
Our initial impression was the surprising low price for a selection of four lunch specials at $8.90 each and the price includes a big spread of hot potato gratin, cauliflower & broccoli gratin, boiled pumpkin, corn, peas and a cold selection of mixed salad, beetroot, coleslaw, grated cheese, watermelon and fresh bread & butter. Wow!!
We were sceptical about the quality and were glad we did decide to have lunch there.
We ordered the $8.90 meal of fish and chips and were even offered a choice of crumbed, battered or grilled. What more could we say. The fish was moist and cooked perfectly and the chips were crispy on the outside. The veggies were delicious and fresh.
Think if we were locals, we will be regulars too.
