Cathy's Restaurant

Our first visit so we were a bit apprehensive about the ($$) meal prices considering the diner atmosphere. When the food came, we saw the reason: portions were huge! The steak was thin but tasty and nice sized, and the flounder filet was perfectly cooked, but the highlight was the shrimp dinner--over a dozen huge shrimp on each plate! Fried or grilled, they were scrumptious. Ditto for the generous onion ring and fried mushroom appetizers. The baked potato and salad bar which came with each meal were average but fresh. And they offer a military discount. If we go back to Port O'Connor, this is definitely where we will eat.

Everyone in our party gave rave reviews about their burgers! One had a burger on sourdough with cream cheese, the other with a fried egg & the rest just a burger. The sour dough bun was a hit! The onion rings were really good, too!

This place is right on the Intercoastal Waterway so it is nice to grab a drink and sit outside on the deck and watch the boats and birds go by. Their burgers are very large.

The pork chops were paper thin and way over cooked tonight - third time in a row. When Dock's first opened the pork chop was thick, perfectly seasoned and tender. Unfortunately it has been a steady downward regression. The chicken strips are very good and consistently so.

We went here after hearing good things about it from friends. It is not a very clean or nice place. Our friends brought their own fish and the restaurant fried some and grilled some along with some onions, jalapenos and tomatoes. That was good! I was not a fan of their chips and salsa which is weird since it is a Mexican restaurant! We did try their breakfast tacos one morning and they were full of eggs and bacon.

Spent the day fishing and wasn't up to finding a place to eat. Discovered Marty's, called them ar 8:47 pm asked them about their pizza and delivery. Homemade crust can be thick or thin just tell them how you want it. As for delivery, it stops at nine, but the person on the phone said if the driver can't deliver tonight, he would jump in his car and bring it over. That's customer service, the homemade crust was fresh and soft, tried supreme and meat lovers both pizzas were good. Next time I will ask for extra sauce, the pizzas were good but I think a little more sauce would bring them up even a level more.

This place really looks like an old shack (inside and out). We have family that is local so they took us here. We all had breakfast and I thought it was good. Mine was a breakfast taco with eggs, bacon, potatoes, and cheese. It was hot and the serving size was great. It was very tasty. My wife had a similar dish but she doesn't eat meat so she got shrimp, cheese, beans, jalapenos, and rice on hers along with some hot salsa. She said it was great. My son had pancakes and he said they were good. My father had eggs and bacon and he wasn't blown away but h said it was okay. My food was hot and tasty and the wife and I would definitely go back. Again, it's nothing to look at and if you didn't know it was there you may not even notice it. I gave it 4 stars based on the food alone. The appearance would probably be 2 stars.
