It was mostly empty when we came in for a late lunch/early dinner, and we were hungry! Our server suggested that we get the family size salad rather than individual salads as a cost savings and real value. Wow, that salad was huge! With individual dressings on the side and bread on the table, we could have made a meal of salad alone. I was finishing my second helping when the rest of the meal came. I forgot how good a Melo's pizza could be! M was in heaven with her plate of pasta and shrimp. My husband and I tackled the pizza. Thankfully, we waddled out of there with leftovers nicely packaged.

Is a 'typical' American bar/restaurant place, but they do it well. Nothing all that interesting on the menu. I had bison burger and potato chowder. Chowder heavy on bacon flavor = yummy. Burger cooked as ordered. Nothing special, but certainly above average.

This is a nice piece in a convenient location in downtown Pleasant Hill. Right across from the Century movie theater, it's a great place to grab a quick snack and a cup of coffee.
However, I'm not a fan of Peet's Coffee straight up. It's a little too strong for me. But the way to make it work is to order a small coffee in a large cup and have the mix it out with 50% hot water. With that you've got yourself an awesome cup of Starbucks coffee.

Alpine’s owners were trained and certified in Switzerland and settled in Concord in 1985. With ten years of working experience at Alpine, the purchase of this delightful Pastry shop was decided in 1995. Outgrowing our location on Clayton road, in 2016 we moved our business to 1848 Willow Pass Road. A bigger and better location and just across from upper Park&Shop. I first walked into Alpine to get a cake for my daughters communion celebration. The cake was beautiful and was the best tasting cake anyone at the party tasted. In may I will be walking into Alpine to pick up the cake for my granddaughters communion. Alpine has great customer service, their treats are the best, and their cakes are moist and fresh. This is a local bakery that is worth the travel to taste for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing deli. Best sandwiches ever. Hidden, but very well known among locals. Be prepared to wait in line, but not disappointed. Love this place.

Went to SF Creamery today with my family. Had a delicious black and tan sundae. Nice restaurant, quiet when we went, not too busy. Service was fast and the sundae's were yummy.

This place is located in the strip mall area...easy to miss. It's across the street from the Hilton hotel. Mall equals lots of parking available...but sometimes that might mean a short walk.
Chowing down here with some friends from down south. No waiting at peak dinner time for a group of five on a Wednesday night. I tried the Bison burger with a salad. The salad was really good. The burger was good too but I've had other buffalo burgers that were way tastier at other restaurants. I tried an Oak Brown ale also (after a sample)...it was a pretty good brown beer.
The atmosphere is nice and open. No problems with the staff either. The are lots of TV monitors throughout the place. There's also an outside seating area, but we sat inside. I liked this restaurant a lot, but nothing exceptional stood out to make it anything more than average for me. No objections to coming back here again.

This tapas style restaurant with great wine pairings is probably one of the best go to restaurants in Walnut Creek. Always good. Everything on the menu is tasty, just know that it is small plate.
And really fun and good wine flights. Take a chance, I am almost always happy with the chance.

I got two large pizzas for six people. Far more than enough!
I tried to order online, but that didn't work. So I called. The man who took my order was very helpful.
I ordered one Carne, stuffed. It's HEAVY! . Everybody loved it. The chunks of tomato in the sauce was over the top.
Also a half Hawaiian/ half pepperoni, thin crust. Delicious!
