The old patronage transformed to a stylish restaurant with a garden and lake view. Second time here and this time at the brunch; nothing with wow! 5-points feeling but everything with good quality (at the first visit they offered one wow-portion).

Visited today Herkkujuustola at Sastamala which is nicely and newly build combination of restaurant and cheese factory, meaning that while eating you can watch the making of the cheese straight from your table from the window to the factory. Restaurant and cheese factory is owned and runned by famous Swiss Cheese Master Peter Dörig. The food at restaurant was great and all the portions included some of their own cheeses which was a nice setup. The prices of the portions were on a very fair level especially when the portions was high quality. Would definitely recommend to visit this place if driving nearby and if you do, you must taste their cheese soup, that was mind-blowing!

The Cafe Pukstaavi is in a beautifully renovated wooden villa. In the summer you can sit on their charming terrace or their green garden. The cafe offers a pretty good lunch and a nice selection of sweet and salty treats with your coffee. You can enter the cafe even if you don't visit the Pukstaavi museum - which you should... :)
