La Vita Bistro

You will love all the house made favorites including Lasagna, Spaghetti and Meatballs, Scampi, Smoked Mozzarella... Just to name a few. Dinner entrees include soup or a salad. Chef Eirik creates dishes sure to please even the most discriminating of palates. Many of the ingredients he uses are items grown by local farmers. The ambiance at La Vita Bistro is one of comfort and class. You will feel like you are treating yourself to someplace special, but without the high cost of the city. Come as you are, have a family meal or celebrate a special event. The seating area has expanded into the adjoining building and offers a different, more open and casual ambience, while the patio area with its large fire-pit overlooking the park is comfortable and inviting and is open weather permitting. The original dining room boasts large, cozy tall booths for a more elegant and intimate feeling. Wines are available for purchase and carryout also.

Their apple fritters are outstanding as are their long johns with cream filling and chocolate topping. They a a very nice touch for frying their donuts which are not overly fired or greasy. They also have great cinnamon rolls and cookie- peanut butter are my favorite. They also own the Chelsea Bakery

Zukey Lake Tavern

Reviewed By bobbyshotgut - Clinton Township, Michigan

This was our 1st visit there. We drove 2 hours to have lunch there an chose outside dining. It was very hot and sunny and we asked for a table under an umbrella. Although there were several tables with umbrellas unoccupied we were told none were ready and were seated in the hot sun. When our waitress came we asked if the table next to us with an umbrella was available. She said yes and that it was in her section and allowed us to move there. After ordering drinks and an appetizer a male older manager approached us and asked how we got that table. We told him that the girl sat us there. He challenged my statement and said "No, you asked for a table with an umbrella and was NOT given one". and that the tables with umbrellas were saved for others. When I said the waitress move us he left. I saw him confront the waitress with an attitude after. The waitress brought us our appetizer (nacho supreme that was very good) but failed to bring us plates or silverware. When she came back for our main order 15 minutes later we asked for plates and utensils and finally were able to eat the now cold appetizer. For the meal my wife ordered a chicken sandwich and i ordered a bacon cheese burger that was delivered without any bacon. It took apprx 45 minutes for the 2 sandwiches and my burger without the bacon was cold. I doubt we will return. I prefer better customer service and management without an attitude

They have both hand scooped and soft serve ice cream! So many choices it's hard to make a decision. Friendly service and great atmosphere, lots of places to sit and enjoy your treats. So good!

had two quesadillas, one wet burrito, and one organic salad. The quesadillas were
okay although some of the chicken was not well prepared. My wife enjoyed the salad.
Very limited menu of tex mex style. God if you live nearby, better then taco bell, but not worth a special trip

Fantastic pizza with whatever you want on it, and have the flavored crust too. Their wings are very large and are not overpriced. They are right on the Huron River chain and will bring pizza right to the dock for you if you are on the water.

This Marcos in Pinckney is always consistent with great tasting pizza and breadsticks. Large amounts of toppings and always great food. They also offer a 25 percent discount to all military personnel either active or discharged, which no other establishment matches.

When you don't feel like cooking this is the place. Food is very good, ready fast and cheap! I feed a family of 4 for about $30. A quart of won ton soup is about $4 and has 15 won tons in it. Entres are large, only 2 needed for four people. They use large shrimp and don't skimp.

We are newer to town and like to support small businesses so we thought we would give this a try. It appears to be a hometown establishment. The kinda place where you would expect awesome thick greasy pizza and fresh deli subs.Disappointing! I'm not sure how they survive because the guy who took our order (who was also the cook) had on a sloppy dirty apron. His baseball hat was revoltingly filthy dirty brown and he was sweating like crazy. I like to know that the staff touching my food is clean and their clothing should reflect that as well! I was so disgusted I almost didnt even eat my sub and when I did I wish I hadn't. It was truly awful. The chicken tasted of freezer burn and was like a processed ground chicken patty. I had two bites and was so mad I threw it away.

The Hamburg Coney is a really comfortable coney with a great homey atmosphere. We eat here on a fairly regular basis and have never been disappointed. Breakfast time, but you don't feel like breakfast food? No problem! Not breakfast time, but you want breakfast food? Sure thing! The servers are terrific - always anxious to please. We especially think the french fries are especially good at Hamburg Coney. This isn't fine dining - nor does it claim to be; but if you're looking for good basic food at a very fair price with friendly service - this is your place!
