Weâve just had a wonderful meal at Valsami following a recommendation from a local.I love fish and have eaten it all over the world but the dorado we had tonight was utterly exquisite.It always freaks me out in Greece how your order comes out of the kitchen piecemeal with side orders often served way before the main dish is ready. But itâs Greece you just gotta chill out and roll with it.I just wish that we had time to visit again before we leave.

Host from our pension in Nafplio suggested that we try the fish at this tavern by the sea. Absolutely no regrets. The grilled cod fish we ordered was very fresh and meat was sweet. We were a little hesitant in ordering sardines as appetisers knowing how fishy canned sardines can be. But we were delightfully surprised how delicious fresh fried lightly salted sardines were. Salad serving was far too large for two of us. Fish soup seemed to be popular among the locals at the restaurant - wished we had space in our stomachs to order some too.

Very good quality, satisfactory variety, Pork souvlaki was delicious while chicken souvlaki and liver were rather over-cooked and dry. Salad was at a large quantity and certainly worth its money, if it was not too salty !!The decoration is warm and cosy, so in general, it worths a visit !

Every year we look forward to eating at this trendy and inviting restaurant. Hidden off the beaten path, it provides upscale Greek traditional fare with a twist. Large portions and interesting combinations make this a stand out in Argos. This is a definite must visit place! Also, their house red wine is delicious and not to be missed!

We ate there three nights in a row and each night's meal was memorable. Stuck to Italian foods and the dishes were tasty, filling, well-prepared, and really well presented. Definitely try the mussel dishes (starter and mussels linguine) and the salads. The warm freshly-baked bread rolls were the best we have had anywhere. The service was superb and the ambiance warm and welcoming. The masticha liquor (free) served at the end of the meal is addictive - it had us walking around town the next day to buy a bottle. We will definitely return there :-)

The restaurant is along the edge of the town's center, creating a lively atmospehre for your meal. You get both great food ( I recommend the chicken skewers) and relaxing evening as the city enjoy's its night beginning. I definitely would return here next time I am in the city.

We went to this restaurant as a family after reading and looking at the ratings in Tripadvisor and we are were not disappointed.Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a great atmosphere, Vegan food, excellent service, very friendly staff, budget-friendly and of course exquisite food. I had the pork steak and I still think about it to this day. Very Family-friendly, cute, nice and cosy restaurant. Thank you very much for the excellent service and hope to come back there soon.
