Good value for the price
Reviewed By Bill SThe facilities are simple and somewhat worn, but acceptable. Considering that one has access to the pool and restaurant in the adjacent hotel Elvita, one lives well. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is sparsely furnished, and could definitely use some more shelving, especially the bathroom. As in most all Mediterranean hotels, the beds are quite short & hard - I’ve never quite figured that out. I would stay here again.

Amateurs, unprofessional and dirty
Reviewed By NanouKonAvoid at all costs. Rooms not cleaned for 3 days, no TV, pool filthy dirty .. all if you were lucky to get some sleep with the continuously barking dogs. No breakfast of course supposedly due to covid, Actually No parking and we had to beg to get an invoice. Stay there and will ruin your holiday. They are totally unprofessional, complete joke. Worst place I be stayed in my entire life

Like Staying with Greek Grandparents
Reviewed By ModerationForMeOK. This place is a little dated, but it's homey and comfortable. We were able to check-in eight hours early too. The owners were very accommodating. Breakfast was simple but filling. The couple that owns the place almost become your "greek grandparents" for a night. It's very close to the port yet we were even offered a ride. It's so close we just walked back though.

Stefanos appartments are located in the quietest side of Skala harbour in Patmos island, just 800 meters from the town centre whilst the nearest beach is Meloi at only 800 meters away. The apartments overlook the harbour and the Monastery of the Apocalypse and they are the ideal choice for those who do not have a transportation means. 100 meters away there is the bus stop and 200 meters away there is a bakery, a mini market, a fruit market and a restaurant. If you want to stay out of the center of Skala overlooking the sea and the beach the hospitable owners also have a studio for two people and a home for up to 5 people in a traditional style and large private verandas on the beach of Meloi. We own and rent scooters from Stefano's Motorent and for those who rent from us we offer better prices!

Very good location and unbelievable price/quality
Reviewed By liesenlucWe only stayed 1 night at Byzance hotel on our 2 days excursion from Kos to Patmos. The hotel is in a quiet small street, at 6 minutes walking from the harbour, the busstop for Chora and shops and restaurants. We had a renovated, very clean and nice room with a lovely four poster bed with curtains, very romantic, and a big bathroom. The owners of the hotel are very friendly and try to help you. Airco in the room works good. The small buffet breakfast, now served on a plate for you, because of the Covid 19, is more than sufficiënt. You can eat it in the cozy restaurant or outside on the quiet street terrace. On the roof, there is another terrace with a beautiful view at the harbour. Because the ferry to Kos left from Patmos at 22h35, we may hold our room untill 14 h for free, and we were able to stock our luggage, and to use the toilets and the terraces untill we left. That was very comfortable, so thanks for this. The hotel has 2 stars, perhaps because there is no elevator, but for us, it deserves at least 3 stars. For the price you pay, you get really a lot! Should stay here again. And Patmos is just a lovely island.

Reviewed By mirabrowerOur stay at Pico Bello was wonderful. The location is so perfect - you walk our the door and take a few steps and are right at Grikos Bay, which is complete serenity. In the mornings I would get up and swim in the bay. The rooms are quiet and have everything that was needed. Georgina was so wonderful to work with, and helped us generously with everything we needed. She is also very friendly. I recommend staying here.

Ideally situated in Grikos bay, «Silver Beach» hotel is a two star (**) hotel, positioned only 5 meters away from the sandy beach of Grikos, including rooms with magnificent views of Tragonisi, Grikos bay and the wider natural environment. Skala, where the commercial port of Patmos is, as well as the picturesque Chora, which is considered to be the island's center, are located approximately 4 km from the hotel. Silver beach hotel features 16 rooms, divided into two types: sea view and garden view, overlooking the hillsides or traditional «Patmian» mansions. Traditionally dressed in white, all rooms are cool, bright, with furniture in earthy shades of beige and white-washed wooden windows. They all include air conditioning, TV, refrigerator and free wi-fi. Upon request, additional ironing facilities are provided. Hotel guests enjoy a certified Greek breakfast in accordance with the principles and values of the homonymous program (Greek Breakfast) of the Hellenic Chamber of hotels, using Greek, regional products in order to highlight traditional recipes and therefore, promote local gastronomy. Brilliant value
Reviewed By croquetsarahThis has to be the best value hotel on Patmos. Staying in this hotel gives you the use of all the facilities of the luxury hotel Patmos Atkis next door. The rooms in Silver beach hotel are very clean and simple with balconies. The shower facilities are typically Greek with a hand-held shower head. However my room had a room safe ( not in my sisters room, next door). All rooms have a minibar fridge which is empty “for Covid reasons”. My room had a hair dryer although I think that had been left in by accident. We had garden view rather than sea view. All rooms have air-conditioning. The best thing is the use of Patmos Atkis a really nice hotel. You have the most fabulous breakfast here. Beach beds should be €10 extra per day for two, but when I went to pay they said they were complementary that week as the hotel was not full. Also you can use the swimming pool which is an incredible 50metre pool. Virtually no one uses the pool so it is brilliant if you are a swimmer. The bay is lovely and both hotels are right on the beach at Grikos Bay. The biggest negative about Grikos is that there is no convenience store. So nowhere to buy even a bottle of water or an ice cream or some beer/wine. There are a few tavernas which all seemed quite good. There are some local walks and a bus service to other parts of the island. Come here for a lazy beach holiday or to swim!

Beautiful authentic Patmos experience

Our room was the Suite Joy which was spacious and filled with light from the many windows. The building is a traditional stone mansion and our room was decorated in a traditional and tasteful manner. Located in the heart of Chora, all you will hear at night is the occasional owl until the roosters get going in the morning. Do not stay here if you are looking for a resort-like five star facility (frankly, do not stay in the Chora of Patmos at all if you are looking for all mod cons). But do stay here if you are looking for an authentic experience and are open to the simplicity of Chora. Annie is an excellent host who gives this hotel a very personal touch.

Reviewed By evcallejaIf you are reading this, you are considering Patmos for your vacation. Look no more. This island is wondeful. We stayed 8 nights at Theologos. The location of the property is superb, with amazing views over Grykos’ bay. Great photos! The area is quiet yet within walking distance to the beach, authentic Greek restaurants and a fancy 5-star hotel bar for your evening cocktail. We took Athina for the first 4 nights and Arietta for the second 4 nights. (In fact, we extended our stay because of the beauty of Patmos and the treat of staying at Theologos...!).Both houses were very comfortable, tastefullly decorated andfully equipped (better than in the photos). A generous fruit basket, some water and a bottle of wine is courtesy of the property. The owners, Theologos and Elisa, are a gem. They will help you make the most of your stay. Do not hesitate to ask them for advice: we got great tips!! Thank you, Elisa and Theologos! Hope we can return to your place!
