Enjoy delicious Southern fare as you take in the breathtaking view of the Petit Jean River Valley and distant Blue Mountain Lake. Here in the Skycrest Restaurant, named for the first hotel that long ago graced the top of 2,753-foot Mount Magazine, tall timbers and an impressive two-story fireplace reflect the “parkitecture” style of the 1930s. Hickory furniture completes the rustic warmth of this mountain lodge's dining room. The menu's variety of choices including specialty items unique to the Skycrest Restaurant will suit all tastes. The restaurant is open daily.

Yummy yummy yummy. Our favorite is breakfast and second dinner. We tend to eat lunch on a hike. Eggs are perfect, wine is abundant, and pizzas and fantastic and can brought to your room. We always enjoy a meal here.

Our group of 5 seniors (2 American, 3 British) stopped here for breakfast after we left Mount Magazine State Park and were en route to Branson, MO. Handy to Mount Magazine, we found it without any problem. it is located just one block from the main road going through town, and has a very handy gas station next door. We all ordered breakfast sandwiches, which were cooked perfectly to order. The place is bright and clean with a few tables to eat-in, as well as a drive-thru window (very busy). The restrooms were immaculate. The cheery staff made an extra effort with the service, and even brought us a complimentary basket of donut holes afterwards! The coffee and tea area is self-serve. We would definitely recommend this spot.

My entire family loves the food! They make their own butter (which is awesome). We try to stop in to eat every time we go through Paris! Friendly people. Food is priced well. The food tastes great and doesn't take forever to be brought to the table!

Cove Creek Supply Company

With a name like Cove Creek Supply Company, you would have thought this was a construction contractor. It's not. They serve up honest meals for decent prices. Primarily a restaurant, and beer/wine store, they also have some snacks and supplies. Don't think they are real grocery store, more like a quick shop. Oh yeah, they have gas pumps too. The burgers are very good and come with a choice of toppings. Nice touch. My wife really liked the onion rings, with not extremely crunchy breading. Looks like they also have "home cooked" specials every day. They cater to motorcyclists of all stripes, so don't be put off.

If you like thin crust pizza this is the place to go in Paris. For me I do not care for it, but it was good and hot. The salad bar was very good. I did not care for the sauce it was too sweet for me.

I did not see any desert pizza. If would have been nice to have something sweet after the meal other than the sauce.

Cottontown Smokehouse

Reviewed By hiker70 - Kansas

This restaurant looks a bit shabby from the outside, and we had misgivings about going inside. But it's BBQ, right? Anyway the inside is all refurbished and looks fine. The food: the ribs are dry BBQ Memphis style, you can add sauce if you want to. And the ribs are fabulous! I appreciated the different side dishes offered, like two different kinds of smoked beans, neither with BBQ sauce, side salad (for my less active days), and a 3-rib dinner for a smaller appetite. I can verify that other diners did not choose a small meal! You can see their menu on Facebook. We did a mini tour of BBQ while we were in the area, and the Smokehouse was our favorite.

If you are looking for a quick meal, El Parian is the place to go. The service is fast, the food is great, and the prices are reasonable. Best cheese dip and salsa around; I could make a meal of just these.

Finally got to stop by here & I was not let down! I had the pulled pork sandwich, potato salad & baked beans. Everything was excellent. Beans are a little spicy but still great! You definitely top all the bbq joints in Ozark, Booneville & Ft. Smith! Thank you for your reasonable prices! I only wish I could bring you to my hometown.

Subway

Reviewed By Donald G - Brookings, South Dakota

We were really hungry and wanted a place without "surprises." Our only problem is that there was only one person working. The poor girl was responsible for everything. They ran out of their "special" and yet had a line of people wanting it (pulled pork). The worker was capable of making it; however, she was faced with trying to get us all served. The food was great; however, it did take a looooooog time to be served. In the future, I would recommend people look at the waiting line before deciding to order or eat there.

Folks who don't have a Sonic in their town are jealous of those who do. and with good reason: all the drink combinations are really good, and the food is too. Hot dogs are especially good; try the New York Dog and the American Dog.
