Pantanal discovery badly organised
Reviewed By BienabcThe first day I was dropped somewhere without knowing what to do. After waiting for about an 1,5 hour some others came and we left to the farm. The guide told me that usually there will be a bootride on the first day, but there wasn't. Probably because we were not with enough people. So we ended up with doing nothing on the first day. All activities were on the second day, more people arrived, but the whole day it rained. So we ended up with nothing to see and looking wet. Nightwalk was cancelled becauae of the weather and the drive was at the 'normal' road. So that was all very disappointing. You can't influence the weather, but doing all activities on the 1 rainy day is just bad organised. They other 2 days we did almost nothing. On the way back, I was dropped on a crossroad without knowing what to expect. I found out that the bus to bonito would be there in 3 hours!!! So I had to wait near the road for 3 hours. that time I could spend at the farm. So again badly organized. For me it was a waist of money.

Bad service, dangerous showers, cheating tourists
Reviewed By Stepan2We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights after Bonito. positives: clean room, good breakfast negatives: my girlfriend recieved electric shock in bathroom, noone come to repair it, so no shower second day. Lady in reception was only laughing!!!!In the evening we wanted to drink some beers, they absolutely neglected us, we had to open the bottles ourselves with own accesories. We wanted also visit Pantanal - estrada do parque, manager arranged some guy, 4 hours, no service, 500 reais. And in the end - during our check out, they wanted to pay it one more time. For the owners: This is not the way, leart at Bonito. For other travelers: Pantanal is nice, book your tour in Bonito, or do it by yourself - you can drivexestrada do parque with normal vehicle - no problem (had Ford Ka)

Our infrastructure was built and decorated in a rustic style to offer a welcoming atmosphere with comfort and quality. All the 17 apartments have private bathrooms, air conditioning and fridge bar. The tours offered are: horseback riding, boat or Canadian canoe, hike, 4wd safari, fishing accompanied by bilingual specialised and local guides.

Sandra and Martha are really enthusiastic hosts - always concerned about our needs during the stay and even before it. The tours that they provide were incredible - we were able to know the fauna and flora details through the Rafael's teachings. In short, definitely we will come back!

The place is beautiful and very well taken care of, the staff (and especially our guide Rodrigo) was so sweet and serviable, and the activities are very well thought. Can’t recommend enough! Just be careful of the mosquitoes though ! ;)

Pousada Pequi Located at the old farm Piqui, 1000 m away from the banks of Aquidauana´s river. 180 km away from Campo Grande through the road BR 262 – 138 km pavement and 40 km off road. There are 10 suite rooms with air conditioning and ceiling fan; a common leisure area with a swimming pool, a tv room and restaurant where the typical food from Pantanal is served.

The homemade food, well organized tours, and all attention to details, were highly appreciated! So glad we chose Pequi and its family and we would highly recommend it to anyone who is after the real taste of Pantanal beauty! Obrigada!

Just to stay over night
Reviewed By wolfgangw79I stayed in this Hotel the second time. The Hotel is clean, the saff kind and friendly. Unfortunately they speak only portuguese. The rooms are simple, no decoration. For me it‘s just to sleep. In the Patio tjey have a swimming pool and a gym as well.

Reviewed By Zor_71An incredibly beautiful place in the middle of South America. The friendship and openness of the hosts (Guilherme and Claudia) and the entire team is unique. The rooms offer everything you need and the protective grids keep the mosquitoes away. Kita is the four-legged treasure of gold and the guardian of the fazienda. What could be nicer than going to bed and waking up in the morning with the nature? The food is always freshly prepared, tastes delicious and the caipirinha ist awesome. During the numerous excursions (canoeing, wildlife and nature watching by boat or jeep, fishing, horse riding) you are always accompanied by one of the two guides. Our tip: Book and experience for yourself, the words cannot always describe everything.
