My husband, 16 month old son and I ate here when we were staying in the Laguna area. The food was excellent (especially the burger and ribs) the restaurant itself was very smart with great music, and the staff were extremely kind - particularly considering our little boy was ill, which didn’t faze them nearly as much as it did us, and they packed our main courses up to take away. Thank you Ben and team!

Its a bit a late review sorry. I've been there with friends and their kids. I must say the brunch represents the healthy lifestyle concept of thanyapura very well. Its not a big brunch but has a great selection of fresh and high quality items.
Nice wine selection as well

Restaurant has the most amazing views over Phang Nga Bay, tables are wide apart, it has lovely beach club interior, staff is very friendly and helpful.
Menu is limited to a few dishes only but all look really good. There was nothing vegetarian on there but when I asked if they could do a salad, it was no problem at all. Risotto was amazing, steak tartare was really good, grilled tuna was nice as well.
Wines were very expensive and choice was limited. We ended up with a very weird, sweet Gewurztraminer from Strasbourg. Not recommended.
Restaurant has a swimming pool at a lower level so you can bring kids during the day.

Always extremely busy so always best to book, this restaurant has a great menu and is excellent value.
Great service, very friendly staff and fantastic food, I would definitely recommend the salmon, be careful when you are ordering though the portions are large here and absolutely delicious.

Stopped for breakfast just outside the toll booth to the national park entity to the Gibbon rehab sanctuary . Ended up having a full lunch at this cute wooden tree top restaurant. Free banana balls, yummy pineapple shake and great iced latte too.
Mind the old dog in bright t-shirt who roams in the car park! Lovely setting, good local dishes and clean washrooms!

Drove for dinner; beautiful place, idyllic setting. Well welcomed, however definitely not wow.....staff friendly but business like. Thai restaurant is a simple room, more like a dining room, with minimal atmosphere.
Menu looked interesting; ordered local oysters, thai style and lobster. Oysters very very ordinary. Lobster grilled with thai sauces.....very chewy and not the sweetness we expected. And the price was just horrid in view of quality. If you pay 600 THB for 100g it should be wow. Spinach was excellent.
Maybe we did not choose well in view of other reviews, however living in Thailand and married to a Thai, I expected much much more.

We had dinner mid week - the restaurant was very quiet. I asked to sit in one of the 3 free Banquette tables - but was told it was reserved - well no one sat there the whole time we were in the restaurant which was a little frustrating.
There was a misunderstanding about the wine I ordered a bottle and the waitress thought by the glass - but as I was asked to taste the wine form a new bottle I had assumed all ok - but then when asked for more was told it was by the glass - then a man came over as I was not really happy about buying glasses rather than a bottle he offered to take away our half drank glasses and bring a bottle, he did not apologize and I am sure felt he was doing me a favor! - this is a 5 star hotel apparently - why would you bother removing the half drunk glasses accepting it was a mistake or misunderstanding - not the best attitude to service - this is not a cheap hotel.
I had to return the Carbonara - the ham was bullitt hard and very salty - not possible to chew - the sauce thin and not tasty - disappointing. It was replaced with a carbonara with bacon which was OK. My friends food was fine and the starters delicious.
but overall disappointing.
With the exception of the man, I think a supervisor with the wine, the staff were very attentive and helpful.
I would give it another go for lunch as the location is very beautiful - but not for dinner. Not good value for money.

Beautiful, tranquil and secluded location with absolutely delicious food. They grow their own produce and we literally saw the cook going out to pick fresh herbs from their garden. A real hidden treasure and fantastic value for money. If you visit the Gibbon rehabilitation project make sure you stop here for some food or drink.

Staying at a local resort (Naka Island) and decided to try one of the local restaurants and found The Gallery. What a great find.
We ordered from the many Thai selections they had on the menu. Started with fried spring rolls, a couple of beers, bottled water and then for mains, sweet & sour chicken (not spicy) and a spicy thai noodle dish the server had customized for me to be made with chicken and a wide flat noodle. All of the food came out steaming hot and was simply delicious. The staff was friendly and spoke English very well. When we explained one of us had a shellfish allergy, they completely understood.
I would highly recommend trying this place. A great break from our resort, and the prices where amazingly reasonable.
